Just came back from 10 day family holiday. Hotel great, good great, ate and drank too much. Rooms very big. Entertainment better than most but it's a shame it all finishes by 11pm way too early. Bar closes then too. Could do with better lighting round the pool. Angel, Lucas and the entertainment team fabulous always smiling and funny. 4 euros in taxi to main bar area. Found Maspolomas very nice for bars and restaurants and fab beaches. Lots of Spanish and French in hotel not too many English which was a shame for our 4 teenage daughters. Staff always friendly and helpful. Could do with English channels on TV for when in rooms. Aircon broke last few days rooms were very hot but when it works is great to keep cool. For the size of the hotel this should have been fixed asap but did not know what the problem was. Most of the bars off site were quiet and seemed to struggle. Drinks off site seemed expensive too probably as main season. On the whole a really nice holiday due to hotel being very good.

After reading the reviews to this hotel I was so worried. But omg it was perfect... So we ended up getting to the hotel at around 10.30pm to find they were opening up the eating area just for us. They had put a huge spread on for us and drinks. We got our room which was the apartment block... Apartment block:: a very good size. My 8 year old son had the bedroom and we put the cot in there for our 1 year old daughter and we just slept on the sofa bed. People said they are dated, I didn't think they were. They are comfortable and have a big balcony. Bathrooms clean and nice and they have a kitchette area. Pools:: one pool was deep and more for the older kids. The other pool was great! Lovely and warm. The animation team are always either cooking on stage or making drinks. Dancing and doing activities around the pool like archery, water polo or darts. You need to be quick to get sun loungers, but the Life guards find them for you and are so helpful. The snack bar is always full of food, chicken nuggets, pizza, crisps, salads, sandwiches. The drinks are serve yourself which is great! Not watered down at all! Ice cream is help yourself in tubs so my son was loving that! Food:: well I've come home a stone heavy haha joking, the food is amazing. Literally everything you can think of at breakfast time! The kids loved the pancakes with chocolate sauce and full English! Dinner and tea was amazing all ways has different stuff on, has a kids section, meat being cooked Infront of you and the veg dishes were tasty! Loads of puddings. Wine beer and coke on tap! Literally can get as much as u want. Animation team:: these are amazing. I work 12 hour shifts and come home knackered and grumpy. Never once did I see them not smile. They were so happy and enjoyed speaking time doing things with the kids. Thank you to them all. In the day they had loads on and night they had shows which were all fun. Staff:: the hotel staff were really friendly and helpful thank you. Area:: there is a supermarket opposite the hotel which is handy for baby wipes haha. 15 minutes walk from the beach (but my son's feet were sore and it was so hot so we got taxis for 4euro) the holiday world was 5 minutes walk. Aqua land was 6euros away and the dolphin place was 15euros in taxis. You can get buses but with our bags and pram we couldn't be bothered. All in all we had a amazing time. We got home at 6am this morning. Thank you to the hotel. We would visit again. Maybe for 10 nights not 7 next time.

hotel was very nice indeed, food was brilliant although food in the snack bars could of come out a bit quicker. Lifeguards around the pool were superb, they had a laugh with the kids as well as being very professional when telling them to calm down, our favourite was the lifeguard from cuba who wore the white tracksuit, he was brilliant, well done to him !! The only negative we have was "cipriano" on the front desk who was always very rude, un-helpful , arrogant, to say the least, he just did not want to help at all avoid him at all costs, all other staff were absolute fantastic and very helfull other than cipriano. Entertainment was pretty decent but finishes at 10.30 another half hr wold be great. All in all a great hotel just a shame that cipriano is a big let down within this hotel

We were a party of 8 and had 3 x 1 bedroom apartments. We arrived approx 10.30pm, Check in was easy and on arrival to our rooms there were sandwiches and fruit left for us in the fridge. The rooms are dated and need a makeover but we did not spend much time in them so it wasnt really a problem for us, but if you intended to self cater this could be a problem. We upgraded to All inclusive Plus and I would highly recommend this. It entitles you to beach towel hire and daily change, (deposit of 10 euros per towel). Free in room safe hire, Branded spirits, (the boys enjoyed the Grey Goose) a great selection of Gins, Cocktails from the menu and a good selection of wines and bottled beer. David will make you a great cocktail here and always served with a smile, you will also be served drinks in the lobby bar until 1pm. You can also get bottled water and branded Ice creams (magnums, solero, cornetto etc) with AI Plus as well us unlimited visits to the a la cart restaurant. The Pool area by the apartment block is relaxing and some days there was a DJ playing chilled background music and one day a guy playing a sax. This was our preferred pool....the other being rather loud and it felt enclosed. Overall we enjoyed our holiday here but we did miss not being on the beach. It would not have been the same if we were not AI Plus....depends if you want the nice extras!
