Great experience and more than worth it for the money
ReviewedGot the women's 4 bedspace room with toilet. It was clean, comfy, with hot and cold water. Loved the kitchen where you can cook and even borrow utensils. Do prepare your own soap shampoo and towels though as they are not provided like the more expensive places.
studyerHuge disappointment!
ReviewedStayed at Nomads hostel in their King Bed room with private bathroom for 2 nights and this is our greatest regret of the trip. We literally woke up every hour during the night because of the loud music (and strong basses) from outside - not from other guests but the pub outside. They do provide earplug (not like its going to help much) but they "ran out of supplies" for both day when we were there. Although being told that no earplugs were left for us, we had to call to the reception again at 12am (midnight!!) on the first night to 'beg' for some earplugs due to the noises and there was no way we would be able to get some sleep. Staff eventually gave us only one pair for the two of us. Asked for a change of room but was not possible due to all room fully booked. Consistently asked the staff for another pair of earplug the next day (three times) but none of them seem to be able to get one for us. Ps: We are not light sleepers and are usually ok to deal with some noises at night but the is beyond what is acceptable. The room does not seem to be sound proof at all and we don't think it is suitable for hospitality purpose. The heat pump in our room did not come with a controller so we had to call the reception every single time we want to turn on/off or simply adjust the temperature. On the morning of our checkout day we called to get them turn on heat pump for us but was being told there was "some error with the system and they could not adjust it for us" so we were left with a cold room. We understand this is a hostel and were not having unreasonably high expectation from them but would at least expect some quietness and control over temperature of the room to make sure it is comfortable enough to stay.
CainoYAmazing Staff!
ReviewedHostel was in a great location in the heart of Queenstown. Payhton was amazing and helped us with everything we needed. Any housekeeping needs, questions about the hostel/ski bus etc. Really a great help.

Big RDecent Hostel, Great Location
ReviewedThis place is located right in the heart of Queenstown. It is clean and well run with both dorm rooms and private rooms. There is a common kitchen area and cinema. Prices are very reasonable but some of the rooms are noisy as there are loud bars nearby. One odd thing is that control for heat in my room was done by the front desk. Other than that the room was fine. Definitely the most reasonably priced place to stay in town.
