We had come across this place online and we immediately fell for the place. it seemed one of the most interesting places in Gokarna and we booked the place 1.5 months in advance however due to some emergency at home we had to cancel the booking last minute. This certainly was an easy process and Oliver (the owner) was the most supportive person. When we called him and explained he immediately initiated full refund without any hassles. we are grateful.

We booked this place last minute, without checking out the reviews much. And I am so thankful for that! Clean and large rooms in peaceful and serene environment, in midst of lush greenery, near to the beach. The common area is lovely, spent hours there. Wonderful hosts and good breakfast too. We stayed for a day only, would love to spend a longer time. This place has such a calm presence.

We stayed here for a week and it's such a lovely, peaceful place. It is in a great location, just down the steps from the main road and about 2-3 minutes down more steps to the beach. It is also only about a 20 minute walk from the town. We had a very nice welcome and the staff are great - smiley, friendly and helpful. Luisa and Oliver, the hosts, really are a fabulous inspiration for living the healthy lifestyle they promote here. We had a really nice room, very clean, bright and colourful. It had a large balcony with a distant sea/beach view and we were surrounded by lush vegetation - beautiful! In fact, the whole place has wonderful chilled out feel to it and is so relaxing. The breakfasts were healthy and delicious - I loved the fruit, curd and muesli bowl in particular- what a great start to the day! Also the food and juices available at the Juice Bar later in the day were excellent as well. I went to the complimentary yoga every day and even though I am just a beginner, I was made to feel totally at ease and I really enjoyed it. We loved being woken in the mornings by all the bird song and the monkeys jumping around in the trees and they were often to be seen around the place - brilliant!!. Unfortunately though as there was no air con in the room, just a fan, it really was extremely hot and uncomfortable at night and we did struggle to sleep - I hate to say anything negative about this amazing place, but that did spoil it slightly. Even so, I am so glad we were lucky enough to have the experience of staying here!

For what it charges, Namaste Yoga Farm is a waste of money. During my stay I was ill and with fever. I asked for a room with AC, and after putting me in the "coolest" (un-air-conditioned) room the manager responded by telling me that AC is bad for the environment. This at a time of year when a room heats up to 95 degrees during the day and doesn't cool down much by night. The place is nice - but certainly not for how much you get in return. I didn't find the yoga great, and while the food was tasty, it wasn't anything to write home about. More worryingly, the management didn't seem to take seriously the fact that one of their guests was ill. When I found a room elsewhere, I wasn't even offered a refund. In fact, the manager didn't express much regret.

We loved our stay at Namaste Yoga Farm!! We spent two nights here in April 2019 and we originally a bit doubtful if this was a good place for a family with four young children - after all, we came to relax and enjoy and not really to work that hard on our yoga skills! However, we had the best time and just loved it. Luisa and Oliver made us feel so very welcome. We stayed in two very cosy huts, enjoyed the outside shower a lot and loved the breakfast, that was the best we had during the whole trip. There is a wonderful breakfast/chill out area where you can also play some games, read, whatever. Even some toys are provided and our kids loved the friendly dogs of the owners. It takes only three minutes to walk to the beach and we also enjoyed Gokarna Town, which is only ten minutes or so by rickshaw. Luisa was especially helpful in explaining and recommending everything (where it would be safe to ice cream or shakes with the kids, where to buy some local stuff...) and we all wish we could have stayed longer.
