    • Great place to visit

      Reviewed 21 June 2019

Great place to visit, even on a Sunday. They have a massive antiques market on every Sunday of the year. it is large and bargains to be found, also unusual stuff too. worth a visit.

Loved looking at all the stuff. Lots of antique furniture but would be extremely hard to back in my luggage back to the United States. Could easily spend hours here and still not see it all.

    • Lovely Mothers Day

We went to Tongeren on Mothers Day. It turned out to be a great choice. Miles of antique stalls. Not a car boot sale, but genuine antiques, but plenty of chances to hunt for some smaller stuff. We arrived at 09:30 and left when the market closed at 13:00. We werent bored for a single moment.

    • We never have luck when we visit

      Reviewed 13 December 2018

This is the second time that we have tried to visit the famed Tongeren Flea Market and both times the weather has affected our visit. Last year we travelled all the way from Portsmouth to Belgium and there was a blizzard and no outdoor sellers, this year we traveled and there was torrential rain, so again hardly any outdoor sellers. There are a few places where they sell undercover in certain halls, shops and Car parks but we were a little disappointed. I can't blame the Market though, just the weather.

    • A wide variety of treasures.

      Reviewed 15 November 2018

We thought it was interesting. They may not all be antiques but there were many collectibles. Better than most markets I have been too If in the area on a Sunday you have to at least walk it. There is a city parking lot but you can only park on the -2 level so limited spots. The dealers are set up on -1 level Parking otherwise may be a little difficult.
