    • Perfect Location!

This is truly a perfect location for visiting Estes Park. Parking in town would have been difficult due to the crowds for Labor Day weekend, but it was an easy walk from the hotel. We booked the King River Room, which was serviced daily and well appointed with a small fridge, microwave, coffee pot, TV, DVD player, toiletries, and extra towels. The key to your room doubles as a bottle opener. Free popcorn, and a large DVD collection are available in the office all day. Most importantly it was VERY quiet (I am a light sleeper) and the AC was quite effective! We started each morning with a cup of coffee on the private patio overlooking the river, before heading into the park. We highly recommend Murphys River Lodge!

    • Quaint, Lovely Estes Park Lodge

This is a wonderful lodge for couples or families. We all enjoyed our stay at Murphy's River Lodge. In addition to the spacious, clean rooms, the breakfast was great. You can enjoy breakfast on their 2nd floor porch looking over the river. The walk to the town is spectacular alongside the lovely river. As it is paved, easy to navigate a stroller. The pool looked great, but we ran out of time to enjoy it.

    • Our new favorite place in Estes!

      Reviewed 06 September 2019

We stayed two nights in a Lower King River Condo over Labor Day weekend. It was our first time at Murphy's River Lodge although we had seen it for several years across the river while staying at Fall River Village. It was perfect. From the full kitchen to the great studio layout to the deck right on the river, it is our new favorite place to stay in Estes. We sat out on the deck talking and drinking wine in the evening and then eating our breakfast in the morning followed by a little mandolin playing. One of the best things is the location. It's an easy walk into town. That's why we had previously stayed at Fall River Village. We had a great dinner at the Wild Rose and did not have to worry about driving home after a few drinks. The friendliness of the staff and the overall positive energy of the place meant we will be coming back when we take our next trip to Estes in a month or two to see the elk and aspens.

We really enjoyed our stay Murphy's River Lodge 8/16/19 - 8/21/19. The lodge is a perfect location to walk to town, explore the park and surrounding area. I can't say enough about how friendly and helpful the staff was from start to finish! Rooms are clean and comfortable, we enjoyed sipping cocktails on our deck overlooking the river and the crackling fire. We also enjoyed a dip in the outdoor pool at their sister property after our bike ride. Had our best meals at Smokin' Daves and La Cocina.

    • Very nice stay in Estes Park

We enjoyed our 1 night stay at Murphy's River Lodge in Estes Park. We chose this lodge because of it's convenience to the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. We had a 2 queen room which was not a river view, but we were only in the room for sleep, and there are nice common areas on the river which we were able enjoy! Room was clean with very comfortable beds and linens. Nice breakfast included and we enjoyed sitting on the outdoor deck to eat. The property is just off the main drive through Estes Park, therefore very quiet but convenient to shops and restaurants. It was a fun takes you back in time which was a fun experience!
