ReviewedExcellent service. Staff are wonderful? very polite and helpful. I had some questions and Fahmy as well as Sara at Guest Relations were great. They answered all my questions, they were knowledgeable, professional and very pleasant. I would vacation at this hotel with no hesitation.
40ClaudineHotel is perfect, food average, dont accept trick from outsourced massage company!
ReviewedJust back from a holiday at the Movenpick in El Gouna. Rooms as always in good condition. Plenty of space at the pools and beaches and a beautiful sea view. Room cleaning is as always ok. Breakfast has a lot of choice. Diner is buffet and quality, taste and selection is not as it was before. After 3 days I start complaining and talked to the chef. Day after the food was from good quality but this should be always, not when you start complaining. And for a 5star hotel you expect better. And then, be aware of the Spa company which is settled in the hotel. It is NOT Movenpick owned but outsourced. The sales persons are very aggressive, lying, pushing, and far overpriced by 200%( approx. 35/treatment should be enough). My advise is not to use this service but look outside, you can find perfect ones Downtown. Sorry to tell this but the truth should be told. So hotel can be advised but the kitchen has to step up to meet expectations.

Mohammed Kbeautiful resort
ReviewedWe stayed there in September for 12 nights. This was our first stay there. We were pleasantly surprised. Very clean spacious room with sea view, great gardens, clean pools, enough deck chairs and parasols, ( do not need to fight for them ), a lot of security staff so we really felt safe, and very friendly staff. A/C unite was too noisy. The food wasn't superb, but it was ok. Resort location is perfect, needs only 10 minutes on foot to get to Down town.
tanjas123662Beautiful hotel
ReviewedWe stayed at the movenpick el gouna for 10 nights in September. This was our second stay at this beautiful hotel, the smallest things make a big difference, such as a really nice welcome and efficient check in on arrival to lovely white fluffy towels and crisp white bathrobes in our beautiful room. During our stay I developed an ear infection ( swimmers ear) and Fahamy from customer relations rang the local pharmacy and arrange for medication to be delivered to the hotel within an hour. He is such a lovely efficient man and an asset to this hotel. He is regularly seen around the pool/ beach daily speaking with guests and solving any problems. Would have liked to have brought him home with us ( every family should have a Fahamy) . We went bed and breakfast as we went out to downtown or the marina to eat at the amazing restaurants, highly recommended is the Swiss restaurant downtown. We hope to return to this amazing hotel again in March, dependant on flights after the collapse of Thomas Cook. A big thank you to all the staff from reception, customer relations Fahamy and Brigitte to the gardeners who made our stay so relaxing. Kind Regards Alan, Rhian and Tom Kirkwood ( 6216)
