    • Last Minute - Close to Gathering

      Reviewed 04 August 2019

Best Western Plus in Antioch Illinois was able to facilitate 2 rooms for family at last minute within distance of memorial gathering for loved one. Staff and Management was excellent at check in and throughout stay. On weekends they offer day to day rates, so you may pay a bit higher rate, however, for short notice reservations so close to event, it was convenient and made coordination of all guests to all venues simple. The kids love the spacious and clean pool. The adults enjoyed the hot tub. The lobby welcomed guests with refreshing apples in a center piece. Breakfast in the morning was satisfying. The linens were all fresh and clean. The stone/glass fire place was warm and comforting just to gaze upon it. Beds were relaxing and allowed everyone to recoup from long 9 hour drive. Thank you Best Western!

    • Great hotel

We visit Antioch several times a year and stay at the Best Western whenever we can. The people are friendly, the service is good and the breakfast is always delicious and filling. The pool is spacious and the Fitness Room is pleasant and easy to use.

My stay here was during a time of one of the largest country festivals in the Midwest and this hotel had it together in preparation of this fully booked hotel. The front desk clerk Kim accommodated several peoples request and did it with a smile. She was very helpful as many people were from all over the place. Its great to see humble in people in this day and age. Thanks to the rest of the staff at this hotel. Your contributions show!

    • Nice rooms- bad staff

      Reviewed 22 July 2019

the staff was rude and seemed to not really know what they were doing. check in took 25-35 mins and when we tried to get a new key magnetized for our room they required my boyfriend (who's name was on the hotel but had been entered in as a completely different name than was on his id) was asked to get me to confirm the room identification, the desk attendant then just asked me my name, didn't check my id (which is weird because she said she couldn't give him the key for safety reasons even though she literally checked us in the day before) and when my boyfriend told her she was rude and my boyfriend asked for a manager, she said there wasn't a number for one, and that there wasn't one on duty and wouldn't tell us when one would be available. she wouldn't even make eye contact with us at this point and when we called the corporate number on our room key to file a complaint about the service we were told we needed to "call the city of commerce, get the managers name and number THAT way and then file a complaint with him/her."

    • Excellent service

At the front desk is Kim, who capably handles routine check-in/check-out, but also quickly resolves immediate, and potentially contentious issues. Kim is super. My thanks to other staff members for their courtesy and helpfulness.
