    • I didnt like the hotel. Valle de Bravo is great!

      Reviewed 13 August 2019

The hotel is old and although it is renewed, you can smell a lot of humidity in the rooms. There is no A/C or ventilation, only a really small window which makes the room very uncomfortable. The rest of the hotel is just OK with no extras. I would not stay again there nor recommend it. The common areas are small and crowded.

    • The Most Beautiful and Amazing Hotel in Valle de Bravo

      Reviewed 29 August 2018

We checked in at noon, they offered us a cabin instead of the room we had booked at no cost. The view of the Velo de Novia waterfall from the terrace of its restaurant is spectacular. As well as the view of the waterfall at night from the jacuzzi and heated pool of the hotel. It is a plus that they are stuck to the natural reserve to be able to walk to the edge of the river. The cabins are beautiful and have two floors, have a traditional fireplace on the lower floor and a modern gas fireplace in the upper room. From the terrace of the room you can hear all the sounds of nature. The food in their restaurant is delightful and the service from the staff was excellent. We will definitely return.

    • A vacation in the Hotel Grand Mision, Valle de Bravo became a Nightmare!!!

Very bad experience!! I travel from Miami with my sister and my mother to have a nice family vacation and turned in to a nightmare. We stay from May 28 to May 31, 2018. Our room #105, was very sultry an unbearable, with a temperature of more then 90 F. We asked the recepcion to turn on the AC on and they informed us that they were going to take us a fan , an old fan that did a horrible sound, that didn't help at all to down the extreme temperatures of the room that didn't had a window. We had to had the door of the room open all the time, that didn't help either, we couldn't sleep. My sister and I were very concerned about the high temperature of the room, because my elder mother. I have been contacting several times the headquarters in Mexico City to request a credit of the 3 nights and they don't give me a resolution.

    • Magical place

We were in valle de Bravo for a wedding and our stay in this hotel was just amazing. The rooms are very cozy and the beds sper confortable. But the best is the climatized pool , our kids had a total blast. Breakfast was quite good , although the staff is quite local , we asked what was that white stuff next to the omelettes and they mentioned a strange name, turn out it was a local cheese , I would have tasted it if they had told me its a kind of cheese ! We were also looking for a consom soup , they didnt had it , but if you look in the menu is the same as xthelopal soup, just a different name , so read the description! We requested babysitting services and they could not had been better , Yasmin and Diego took care of our little ones so good that my son was asking me to stay in the hotel with them the following day! One small print , as everything in valle de Bravo , the place has a rocky path and a lot of steps , so not a good idea to be with heels ! Overall great place !

    • Beautiful place, near Valle de Bravo

      Reviewed 19 June 2018

Beautiful room, the cascade at the lobby is breathtaking! The spa provides an excelent service, rooms are cosy and the staff is super nice. The rooms are outside and you walk out of the lobby to get to some of them, which is not super convenient if it is raining, but the distance makes them super private and quiet.
