We have stayed in 4 hotels in the wigan area and this is my least favourite. Check in efficient without being friendly Room and hotel.. Dated. The smell in the corridors was like air freshener took the place of life itself Room.. ok. Only one socket by the desk which isnt helpful if wanting to charge phone whilst drying hair. Small towels not good enough for my long hair Bad points Dated Staff have no customer service Staff have given up Bar was cashing up at 945 on a Saturday and not wanting to serve Guests worried they had been stolen from in my opinion weren't listened to. Accor.. this is appaling I'll only stay here if theres nowhere else At all. And this was more expensive than any of the other hotels. Err no!! Do better.

Stayed here for one night to attend a nearby concert. I must say for what we payed I wasnt expecting much but our overall stay far exceeded our expectations. Car parking was hassle free. Reception service was faultless, room was fine with a comfortable bed and everything you could need. There is an outdoor seating area which was very pleasant. The breakfast was buffet style which was excellent and freshly cooked. The staff were very helpful and we could not fault the place. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Wigan. Thank you

Decent place for a decent price. Easy to find, and reasonable distance to the town centre. Breakfast was fine also. Staff are great- special shout-out to the lady on reception, Ashley, who was super helpful and nice.

We come and stay at the hotel regularly with our daughter to visit friends and family. The staff are all lovely, always welcoming and very accommodating and friendly with our young daughter whos been staying in the hotel since she was a couple of months old! The breakfast is always lovely with plenty of selection for ourselves and toddler. Plenty of high chairs available. On the occasions we have dined in the restaurant for our evening meal the food has always been amazing as well. The pizzas are gorgeous, much better than the local takeaways! And the steak is one of the best Ive had anywhere. The room is always clean and tidy and we always have the travel cot we request, which our daughter (tends to!) sleep in very well. Although its next to a road we dont tend to be disturbed by road noise at all, although the odd time other guests have disturbed us but thats unfortunately part and parcel of staying in a hotel! The only thing I could say is some of the communal areas (bar/ restaurant/ stairwell) could really do with a bit of updating as it hasnt changed much since I started staying here 12 years ago when me and my partner first met! But we will always return here to stay as we are always made so welcome.

My husband & I stayed last Sunday night check in was not till 2pm but our room was ready at 1pm which was very nice as we needed to get change to go for lunch with family . We had a lovely big clean room on ground floor with walk-in shower which was lovely & very nice soft comfortable bed . About 8pm we were going to have a drink in the bar but decided not to as it was dark dreary miserable bar & nobody in so didnt bother ( a depressing looking bar the need to open it up & make it more inviting. There was only cold sandwiches available so didnt bother .Dining room nice clean bright & fresh for breakfast but nobody in dining room & bacon must be sitting for a long time could not cut into it & when I went to make some toast about 9.45 toaster was turned off ( it was put back on for me & all food cleared away about 9.45 am . Saying that all the staff very nice & helpful & location very good so for that reason I would stay again . Our bedroom needed painting & repairing as looked like someone damaged the door but overall a nice stay for what you pay.
