    • Fantastic Little Shop

      Reviewed 01 October 2019

I only stayed here for a night, but it was great. When I arrived I noticed immediately there was a little shop in reception selling postcards, stamps, and lots of little gifts and fridge magnets. This was a godsend for me because I didn't have much time, but I wanted to bring some stuff back for family members and send a couple of postcards. The room was big, really clean and the bathroom was in really good shape. The shower was a double shower, which was so nice. There was drinks fridge in the room with a selection of drinks you could have free of charge. There was sparkling/still water, a can Pepsi, a can of still apple and a can of 7-Up. There was also a free Stroopwaffle and those things are so delicious! The hotel is in a central location, as the name suggests and took about 5 or 10 minutes to walk from Den Haag station. The breakfast was lovely, fresh, a fantastic spread. I didn't try the cooked food because I didn't have time, but it looked very tasty. The fruit was really fresh and there was a good selection of cheese. There were fruit bowls by the lifts on every floor, which was a nice touch. They had apples, bananas and kiwis for people to help themselves to. My room was quiet and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I had the best night's sleep. So much so that I found it really hard to go to work in the morning. There was a plug socket by the bed - YAY! And they had great little packs in the room. They had a tooth care pack, which was very gladly welcomed by my colleague who had forgotten his toothpaste. There was a shaving kit, a little vanity kit with cotton wool in it, all the usual shampoo, shower gel, moisturiser, as well as a shower cap, shoe shine, sewing kit. I don't know why, but I really love hotels that do these little kits. There was also a tea tray and a coffee machine in the room. All the staff were very helpful. When we arrived the booking hadn't gone through properly from our office and the woman on reception was happy to talk to the office when I called them and they sorted the payment really quickly. I can't say a bad word about this hotel, which is rare for me.

    • Comfortable and good location

I stayed three nights attending a conference at the Fokker terminal. Hotel is well located for the central train station for transfers with Schipol and for venues in Den Haag. Fokker Terminal is a 25 min walk or 10 min Uber ride. Hotel is efficient and comfortable.

    • Location - Quiet Room

A very nice hotel located about ten minutes walk from the=he train station and close to public transportation. We had a room away from the elevator and had noiseless nights. They have a nice selection of items for breakfast and a nice restaurant. A fine place to stay.

    • Clean Room - Good Location

Booked the room via The room was modern, clean and in a very good location. We arrived 30 minutes before check in time and were told that we had to come back in 30 minutes. There is no parking; however, there is a car park across the street. It is VERY expensive, two days of parking cost the equivalent of $100 Canadian (outrageous)! We did not have breakfast in the hotel because the price was not reasonable, 22 euros per person. If you walk down to the shopping square (less than a five minute walk), you can have a nice breakfast for a reasonable cost at the restaurant in Hema.
