Super central and clean and totally worth 25 in mid season!
ReviewedAmazing location! Nice sand beach just above the small road with free beds, so morning bath directly from bed! :) Short walking distance from ferries and restaurant centre with rentals and all the other tourist stuff! No breakfast, not even willing to make coffee.. (Not in closest buildings either) So better put something in the fridge.. Restaurant underneath (fish) opens 10AM, but never saw any guests there, and didn't tempt at all to even try it..... (Of course you also have all the big ferries going in and out just a small swimming distance away...) :p
_Jan_Orre_Disappointing 3rd Visit
ReviewedJust finished our 3rd visit to this ideal location, almost on the beach. We were disappointed compared to our previous visits. We were greeted by the owner George who was lovely and friendly. Our room was very basic, there was no kettle even after requesting twice, and they were available. No cups etc, just 2 glasses. Having stayed the last 3 weeks in several pensions of the same costings this is a poor standard room. We had one meal on our first night in their fish taverna, to claim this is a fish taverna is an overstatement. 12 euro for a few slithers of Octopus with no accompaniments and 8 euros for a handful of sardines again nothing to go with it. This was definitely the worst meal we had in our 3 weeks in the Cyclades. We feel the people there can't be bothered, and the rooms are very tired. The only asset to the Meltemi pension is the lovely owner George and fabulous location.
johnnytheboy63perfect 4 us
Reviewedwe stayed 2 nights, and found it to be just what we needed. the room was nicely furnished, the beds comfortable, and the location just across from the beach. which is what we always go for. If you are looking for non-fussy. relaxed stay, this is perfect.
markcooper14Lovely stay
ReviewedAbove the fabulous Meltemi fish taverna.. highly recommended...rooms with fridge and kettle,en suite bathroom. Very clean, comfortable. Early to beds will be disturbed by music from below, but wonderful place otherwise. We had a room with doors out to a terrace overlooking the bay.TV for Greek TV in the room, soap and towels provided. After a beautiful fish meal downstairs we brought our table wine up to our room with us. At 20 per night, great value. Lovely people, very helpful.
Lesley BGorgeous little gem.
ReviewedI stayed here in September 2017 and thought that I had reviewed it but obviously not! It is the most perfect rustic and homely pension with very friendly staff. It sits on the beach and has its own sun beds etc. We were always up and out and on the beds by the sea after having our breakfast. Basic but fine for the cost. Georgios the owner was very helpful and kind, ensuring that we had everything we required. All of the staff are friendly and it is a very family oriented place. It is clean, and adequately serviced. We loved it so much that we have booked again for this year and I cant wait to go.
