    • Nice hotel...good location

      Reviewed 12 November 2019

The staff at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. The concierge was very knowledgable and we were able to use his suggestions to make adjustments to our plans that worked out very well. The rooms are good in the sense that the bed was comfortable. We were on the 7th floor facing the road. It was not very noisy except when an ambulance or fire truck passed by with their sirens blaring. The restroom was really small; especially the way the commode was placed between the tub and the wall, I can imagine the trouble a tall 250 pound person would go through trying to use it. The best thing about the hotel is that it is barely a few minutes away from the Pike Place Market. You can access the train and the monorail through the hotel without actually stepping out. We didn't eat at their restaurants as they said The Oliver does not serve people with kids (we were traveling with a toddler). So even though we always make it a point to dine inside the hotel or order room service, we didn't do so this time. No regrets though as the food outside the hotel was pretty good, so we actually saved some money. :) Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its location and access to major tourist spots around Downtown Seattle.

    • Great hotel but...

The Mayflower Park Hotel is a beautiful hotel conveniently located to shopping, restaurants, and the lite-rail in downtown Seattle. The grounds are immaculate, the rooms are spacious, and the beds are super comfy. The customer service leaves something to be desired. NO one acknowledges your presence or even welcomes you, or makes you feel welcome for that matter. I'm not a person who needs a great deal of attention, but a smile or nod would have been nice.

    • Wonderful hotel, great location!

We love staying in unique hotels and this one definitely fit the bill. It was a historic hotel with everything we needed. The location was perfect - a 10 minute walk to Pike Place Market and a 5 minute walk to the monorail and Link transit. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had an excellent stay at the Mayflower Park Hotel for 4 nights in the early part of November. We had a Deluxe Queen room which was very spacious. The hotel is situated 5 blocks from Pike Place Market and a block from the Westlake light rail station which is very convenient to use to get to and from the airport. We also enjoyed happy hour in Oliver's Lounge each evening. I would highly recommend the hotel and when in Seattle again would plan to stay at the hotel.

After the "modernization" of my previous favorite Seattle Hotel, the Roosevelt, I needed to try something new. The Mayflower Park far exceeded my expectations!! What a treat to have beautiful draperies, furniture, carpeting, and a shower curtain in the bathroom! (Who the hell came up with the idea of eliminating doors to bathrooms and showers?! ) The lobby is lovely, the restaurant/bar has a fun scene at happy hour, and Adaluca Restaurant is attached if you want to splurge a bit. The housekeeping staff is second to none. I'd give the review 6 stars if I could.
