    • 3 night stay with family

We went here for 3 nights over the August bank holiday with other family members in 3 rooms. Rooms Nice clean rooms, comfortable beds and feather pillows, large 50 TV, Kettle with tea and coffee, hair dryer, in-room safe, iron, trouser press, air con. Bathroom had bath with overhead shower and plenty of toiletries. Location It is on an industrial site away from restaurants and shops but we picked this hotel because it was between Cambridge and Peterborough and we wanted to spend a day in each location. There is also a leisure park with cinema and several restaurants around 10 minutes drive away. Breakfast/Restaurant We really liked the breakfast and through the selection was excellent, cooked items, cheese, ham, breads, cereals, pastries, muffins, mini pancakes, Belgian waffles, porridge, fruit, juices, tea, coffee and also take away cups if you wish to carry a tea or coffee away with you. We also had a meal in the restaurant in the evening which we enjoyed, as usual with Marriott hotels they do add 12.5% service charge on your bill but as we were happy with the service I did not mind this. Facilities There is a pool in the hotel which my brother and nephew used and said was warm with good changing facilities. The gym also looked decent although we did not use this. There is plenty of free parking at the hotel, no need to register your number plate with reception. We would be happy to stay here again if visiting the area.

First, I have to give major kudos! This was the first time EVER (w/ over a year of being a Platinum member) that I've arrived at my room and the requests I made we're actually completed. Usually I see the requests weren't done, I call the front desk and they do they get done. It's usually not much: a couple extra pillows, extra conditioners, & maybe extra towels (though this time I also requested a dental kit sice I forgot mine). I was only there for one night, but it made my night . Overall the hotel was what I would expect of a Marriott. I didn't get to use a lot of the facilities due to my short stay. Breakfast was buffet style with a plethora of options, to include a cook to order omelette/eggs station.

Nothing was too much trouble for all the staff at this hotel, courtious at all times, immaculately dressed clean and smart at all times. Food was well presented and nicely cooked with good selection. It also has a well stocked bar with comfortable seating, WiFi access. Has ample parking spaces on 1level, we were on the ground floor which had a few wide steps to manovere with a handrail, I felt they could have a small lift or ramp for wheelchairs, the ground floor therefore I would say isn't wheelchair friendly, but there is a lift to all other floors, Everywhere else seemed pretty much accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs etc. Hotel looked clean beds were comfortable and clean, the hotel is located next to a busy main road but due to the type of glazing you couldn't hear the traffic. However the hotel is isolated with no shops within walking distance. There were children at the hotel but I couldn't say if there was a play area for them. I had a great stay there for 4 days and would stay here again.

Plenty of parking and very easy to get to. Bedroom was descent choice of 2 double beds in my room 1 of which looked like it had been slept in that day. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was ok shower was quite good but the shower curtain was very dirty. Breakfast was not the best as the cooked items were actually quite cold.
