    • Amazing experience

This was just as lovely as holiday can be. We had arrived slightly past 2 a.m. and had nicest welcome at the reception, were immidiately told that because we have missed our dinner that day they have put the food in the fridge in our room so we have something to eat after our arrival. Just sweet. The apartment wasn't newly furnished or so but was perfectly clean, equipped with hairdryer, coffeemachine, two TVs and air conditioning. After just asking for gluten free bread at breakfasts the night we arrived the staff themselves kept track on what dinners have I chosen and made sure I got the gluten free version - without having to ask anyone. The half board system was also very lovely. We chose our dinner menu in the morning and in the evening we just came to the restaurant and the three-course dinner was served by waiters - no mess around buffets and crazy queues like in other hotels. The pool area is also clean and very nice, there were a lot of sunbeds available at all times. It is kept nicely quiet and relaxing. The staff was as nice as can be and made sure the guests have best stay possible. It is a family hotel owned and run by Germans so naturally a lot of stuff is in German but most of the signs were easily understandable with basic germans knowledge and the important information including the dinner menu was in English as well. Excellent services for the price (70EUR/room HB in August, booked through TA website). Our room was slightly loud - there was some kind of club underneath the balcony but once we closed the windows and turned on the AC we were able to sleep very well. It is about 10 min walk to the beach and you have to take stairs of lift. I recommend not staying at the overcrowded "city" beach full of sunbeds and walking a little bit closer to the dunes. It is a nice beach walk and you get to be on the beach almost just by yourself if you're lucky.

    • Octoberfest

We can't comment on the accommodation as we wasn't staying at the hotel but I wanted to write a quick review to say how much we enjoyed the octoberfest evening and entertainment. We wasn't staying at the hotel but when we went in to see what was happening we were made to feel very welcome by friendly staff and guests and probably had the best night of our holiday. We only wished that we were there for the following Saturday night festival.

    • Impressed over all

      Reviewed 16 August 2018

I arrived at the maritime player on 11th of August 18 and still have a few days remaining. Me and my partner were happy that our request of a room away from noise was granted. Our room is very tidy and extremely well cleaned. The breakfast has a vast selection which is tasty and the pool is a good size and clean. In my experience here most guests are German and are very polite. The only down side is there isnt much going on around the pool as you are not aloud balls or floats. So it's no good for families with children although the beach is a small walk and there is plenty of food and drink places within a 5 minute walk. In the reviews I read before coming mentioned noise from the night clubs but I haven't witnessed any of this. Maybe because I'm on the top floor opposite side. Overall. Great!

    • Hotel is nice but food...

      Reviewed 12 August 2018

Rooms very nice and clean, swimming pool was ok, but food was disgusting especially dinners. If you decide to spent holiday in this hotel dont bother with half board just eat outside. Also everything is in German hardly anything translated and you have to pay extra for everything. Little pay traps all over the hotel.

    • Good food service and location, horrible appartements over the disco

      Reviewed 15 February 2018

The hotel is located in the center of Playa del Ingles. Although a little bit affected by the time, the food service and room service are good. But the apartments located above the disco roof are a great misunderstanding. Those do not meet room standards at all. Every guest understands that a stay in the hotel is not a permanent silence. But... these appartements are horrible. We are unable to sleep every night from 23:00 to 06:00. Even, if they are probably cheaper, they are not worth that price. You either dont sleep, or you sleep during the day only. These rooms are only for the deaf people and for those who do not feel sense of vibrations. Nobody has informed us that we would lost in a whole week of a nightmare. It is not fair to sell a stay in such rooms. By the way, The reception only unfolded hands and nothing helped.
