      This is a fantastic hotel which I would highly recommend. We stayed here for 5 nights in September 2019. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are massive and comes equipped with a kitchen which includes a microwave and fridge! The bathroom is fantastic with one of the best showers ever! We got a river facing room with balcony and it was very quiet. The only down point was the wifi in the room was very poor but that could be to do with the room we had. This hotel is amazing and I can't wait to return. The whole complex is fantastic!

      What a great time at Margaritaville Pigeon Forge. The rooms were very clean. Enjoyed the Roof Top pool and bar. Management was great. Kudos to Lor Lee. She was awesome. If there is anything wrong she will get to the bottom of it. She will definitely make sure that your stay is Top Notch! Enjoyed the Margarita Machine in the room. So much to do at the island. We are definitely returning in a few days to enjoy another night! Thank you for the hospitality!!!

      We stayed here Sept.27 thru 29th for an anniversary weekend in room number 721- a riverview (pitiful- more like creek & shopping center across the road view) king/jacuzzi/rainshower/fireplace room. Pros: Hotel staff is friendly & room was clean- except for the stink bugs... Cons: You can hear EVERY SINGLE NOISE from the hallway- every person walking & talking, every child running & hollering (& there were A LOT), every parent shouting at the child to slow down, every cart being pushed... Every. Single. Noise. There were stink bugs in our room. Not a huge deal to us (we get them occasionally back home) but it's not something you really want to see in a 4 star hotel room... The whole room is tile flooring... I know some people prefer this but I like to at least have some carpet under my feet when I get out of bed. A runner on each side would've been nice. The valance on one of the patio doors was all torn up, strings hanging down, made it hard to open the shades. The patio was not private AT ALL. If you're neighbors were out you might as well include them in the conversation. It also had no shade, so with it being 90 degrees by 10am we didn't spend much time out there. The jacuzzi was a nice size but the plastic cover over the buttons were broken so we could barely tell which one was the power button. The bubbles weren't strong at all & it was very loud. Given the fact that the door & walls were so thin I figured you could probably hear the jacuzzi being used above you too... The shower was very large but you could only use one shower head at a time. You couldn't have the rain shower on & the regular one on together. Plus when you switch between the two the water is very cold at first so watch out! The air conditioning was awful. It was a small unit in the ceiling in the entryway & barely cooled the room. The hallway to our room was always dirty looking. There was trash on the floor every few doors & the carpet was sorta dingy looking. The walk from your room to the lobby elevator is looong, even longer if you're further down! They did have an elevator that was a bit closer but it let you out into the shops a distance from the lobby. Not a big deal if you're going shopping or exploring but inconvenient if you need to go to the lobby. Also if you were leaving the Island for the day you have to head toward the lobby anyway to get to the parking lot. Oh the parking... so you can pay $14/day for valet parking or you can self park. The self parking is a good little walk away. In fact you walk right past the valet parking lot to get to the self parking. Most places I've been to the valet lot is always behind the customer lot... it would've been nice if they had done it that way! Also the self parking is limited so if the hotel is full you might be out of luck! Getting in & out of the hotel lot is a HUGE pain in the butt! You have 2 choices- exit thru the Island onto the parkway or exit thru the parking lot onto Teaster. Either way is difficult. Coming back to the hotel can take 30 minutes or longer if its busy. There was one day that we tried to leave the lot going out to Teaster & needed to turn left to go to Sevierville but they had that lane closed, & the lane turning left into the lot from Teaster. We had to turn right & make a u-turn. It's all very inconvenient! We ended up just battling the traffic on the parkway & thru Island drive the rest of the trip. I highly suggest checking out google earth so you can familiarize yourself with the entrances/exits before you go! I will not be returning to this hotel. In my opinion, I just can't justify the price with what you get & all that you have to put up with. But hey, if you have money to burn then go for it!

      Well let me start by saying that we have spent a lot of time and money at the island hotel. We have stayed in a village room, fountain room (1 and 2 bedroom) and the penthouse over the years. The only positive I can say about my recent visit is the housekeeping staff and Valet is great. Now for the negative, the front desk staff was severely lacking. At approximately 12:30 I called to see if we could check in early, I understand that check in is at 4:00pm but we have checked in early every time we have stayed at the hotel. I was told that the room should be ready about 1:30. We arrived to get continuous lies that the room was being cleaned, for the better part of 3 hours. Once 4:00 came the front desk lady said that the room would be ready in 6 minutes, very exact for a person who has told us for the past three hours that the room was being cleaned. I explained to her that is was my sons birthday so the stay was special and she preceded to tell me "we were only 8 minutes late", forget the fact we had been in the lobby for almost 3 hours. Once we were checked in we were told to walk slowly to the room to make sure the housekeeping staff had finished the room. When we arrived at the room the housekeeping staff was still in the process of cleaning the room and we had to wait an additional 10 minutes outside the room for her to finish. The utter disrespect and untruthfulness of the front desk staff is completely unacceptable, not because of the amount of money or time we have spent at the hotel, but because they are in the hospitality field, and if they cannot be truthful with the people who are paying their check then maybe they should find a new career choice. In addition to the untruthfulness about the continual "cleaning" we found out from the front desk staff that they had to remove another guests bags from the room prior to our check in. Regardless if this was a person who would not leave the room or the room was double booked (which is what we heard from multiple sources) there was no reason to lie about the situation. Clearly there is a training issue that needs to be addressed.

      Absolutely the best place to stay. Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff. Definitely will stay here again. The location is right in the middle of everything. You can walk to the island that has something for the young and old. Clean and safe atmosphere.
