      We loved the location and service at Mantra Sirocco. The room was outstanding and there was so much room to spread out. We had a 2 bedroom executive for 3 adults and it was perfect. We loved the sweeping views from the balcony across the ocean. Wine oclock was especially good with that superstar view. Some reviewers on Trip Advisor had gone to great pains to point out marked furniture and tiny paint chips. We had no issues at all with our room and quite frankly, if all you can do on check in is go looking for faults then you dont need a holiday, you need therapy!!

      We stayed for a week in August. A relaxing stay with a stunning view of the beach and Esplanade. Lots to do if you want to. The apartment was well equipped, but everything needed a wash and clean. The decor was a mix of 1990, 2000 and 2019. Total lack of house change of towels or sheets for 8 days....hmmmm.

      Absolutely huge units , well appointed, 30m long including balcony ,very comfortable with stunning 180 degree ocean views. All units are ocean front and imo, the corner 2 bed executive suites are the best from level 6 and above as they have another 4 small balconies off each bedroom. Corner suite room numbers to request 601& 608 701& 708 801& 808 Sirocco is the most central location for shops and eateries which are in abundance. Great staff who are very helpful place we have stayed in a long time.

      We stayed at the Mantra Sirocco for a week! Our apartment was spacious, with two luxurious bathrooms, sleek kitchen and large balcony looking over the sea. It was perfectly situated over the restaurant/cafe precinct with the beach directly opposite. The apartment was clean and the kitchen well equipped for all our cooking requirements. (The fresh fish market and supermarket are all within walking distance - so easy to prepare your own seafood feasts!) The staff could not be faulted.

      Stayed for 4 nights with an ocean view room, which was amazing to look out from each day. First impressions in lobby are excellent - a lovely spa style area. Staff friendly and helpful, allowing us to store luggage when the room wasnt ready yet. The location is perfect: right opposite the beach and with ample cafes and restaurants very close by. The room seemed to be in a transitory state from the mid-1990s to 2019. The bathrooms and kitchen were mostly well equipped and nicely decorated and furnished. One or two bits of furniture and fittings were dated, such as a defunct answerphone and a disused cassette player. The standard of cleanliness, mentioned in numerous reviews going back months, was poor. Tissue paper in the bath plug hole, foil from the toiletries in the shower, crumbs on the sofa and cooker, dust on the cooker hood, sticky stains on the floor tiles, some sort of sauce on the coffee table, hand prints all over the glass panels on the balcony and on the bedroom windows and even a fragment of glass on the lounge floor. We informed the front desk that the room was not clean and they immediately sent someone up. They were able to clean up some bits but really it needed a much more comprehensive clean. By that point we didnt trust that the rest of the stuff was clean, so we had to wash every dish, glass, cutlery item before use to be sure they were properly clean. A bit of a hassle. The Mantra is generally onto a good thing but really needs to be clear on improving the housekeeping and keeping up with the times.
