We have just returned from a weeks all inclusive stay here with our 2 young children aged 4 & 6. The hotel was clean and checking etc was efficient and easy. Our room was perfectly adequate, clean and bright with a decent bathroom. The hotel facilities were great- the outside and pool areas were ideal for the children and the all inclusive drink and snack package was really good. Thd took top adults only area was lovely when we managed to take it in turns to escape! The food sadly wasnt really edible- were not fussy eaters but repeated nuggets chips and beans with few salad options was uninspiring and not great. Thankfully the cost of eating out was really cheap and plentiful so we didnt go hungry. The hotel is well located for the beach and town and less than hour from Alicante airport. If you want a good base, and are prepared to eat out, this would be ideal!

Everything about our stay here was excellent. Very clean hotel. It seemed a bit of a maze to start with but we soon got used to it. We even got used to the hill (its really not that bad). The food was very good, always a huge selection and excellent quality. The drinks package was better then any other hotel we have visited. All branded drinks, large measures served in nice glasses. There is also a selection of kids cocktails. All the staff were lovely but a special shout out to Tony in the English bar. He was always great fun and even had my daughters up singing with him. It was the highlight of the holiday. Tony even helped us with our trips out. We can highly recomend the waterfalls at Algar and the village of Guadalest. Top holiday. We will be back

    • Disgusting Hotel Manager (Lidia) / Bar Staff!

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in, made worse by the disgusting attitude of (not all the staff I must stress) the hotel manager, apparently called Lidia but I would not be surprised if she wrote that down incorrectly and a bar member who, between the 2 of them have zero manners and respect for guests who pay there wages. Had a rude member of staff make us que up twice for just 3 drinks, then happily serve 3 drinks to a Spanish guest. (4days prior we didnt have this problem with any other staff member) When I questioned him he took a aggressive tone and started shouting to see the reception if had a problem. Im a young man of 32, I didnt take kindly to his attitude in front of my family. When I told him to mind his manners he got on his phone and rang his manager. This appalling woman, without even asking what the problem was, what had happened or talking to her guests in a civilised manner came storming out pointing her walkie talkie and berating me in Spanish! I had done nothing wrong and was told that by a few guests after it had died down. Terribly unprofessional. And I cannot wait for there generic reply they send to everyone who slams this terrible hotel. What they need to realise is we as guests, keep them going, we choose them. So they should behave accordingly and professionally when issues arise. Hundreds of hotels in Benidorm, show some respect. Yes it works both ways but the customer is always right !!!! Ill end with the hotel. Dark, dingy interior, awfully small/cramped pool area where if you like sunlight for no more than 4/5 hours a day its perfect. Food was bland, mostly cold and had defiantly been nuked in a microwave, like most all inclusives I suppose at this kind of hotel, although I must say the Mexican themed night was surprisingly good so I suppose they decided to actually cook there food properly this time round ! We have hated staying here but I will add any good points for impartiality (thats about it)! Rooms are cleaned daily, but again cramped, and dingy. Ive read many reviews since being at this about personal belongings going missing, so keep that in mind however I lock anything expensive up wherever I go. Many guests Ive spoke to also while being here have stated how horrible it is, I find that the only people that actually seem to like it are the families that prefer to get drunk while there kids run around unsupervised and also the Spanish, Which btw this hotel caters for 110%, they seem to get treated a lot differently to the English.
