    • Wonderful Stay in Lyon

We had a wonderful week stay in Lyon with Anne at Les Loges. A bed and breakfast ideally located in Croix Rousse- a wonderful neighborhood within walking distance to city center. Also easy public transportation if needed. Anne is a wonderful hostess and went above and beyond to help make our stay comfortable - including helping us plan our day trips, providing a take away lunch for an excursion outside the city, helping my daughter get her hair cut! She also patiently answered my many questions about the area prior to our arrival. The building is modern and well -designed. Our rooms and the bedding were very comfortable. A wonderful breakfast is included each morning, with home made items as well as the basics (eggs, cereal, juice etc.) I highly recommend.

If you want a clean, comfortable, quiet room and personalized attention from your host, this is the place to stay. Our family of five stayed for five days at beginning of July and I couldn't be happier with our decision. The building is unique and wonderfully designed; the hostess, Anne, goes above and beyond to make her guests comfortable. Wonderful and diverse breakfast every morning with homemade items as well as the basics. This breakfast room also serves as a common area for guests, with a fridge to store food items if needed. There is also a spa area with a hot tub - but we didn't not use as it was summer. The location is perfect, you can walk anywhere easily or catch metro, bus, etc. as you wish. It was great to stay in this neighborhood of Croix Rousse - with everything you need nearby; we felt very comfortable. Highly recommended! Thank you Anne!

    • Visiting Lyon for the Women's World Cup

We were in Lyon for six days during the Women's World Cup. We had a wonderful experience at Anne's home. Anne was very kind, helpful, interested and interesting. She helped to acclimate us to the city and suggested nice places to visit outside of the city as well. We had two rooms and both were very clean and comfortable. We really liked how quiet it was at night. Anne put out a delicious spread of cold food in the morning for breakfast. It included things like breads, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, meats, mini crepes and granola. She put out some regional cheeses as well. One day she made two tarts which were delicious. I plan to duplicate them as best as I can at home! She had water, coffee, tea and a selection of juices each day. On the day of the final soccer match, she surprised us with soccer straws in each glass. The location was just perfect. Her home is located within an easy walk to a metro with many shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. Each day, there was a market near the metro station with vegetables, flowers, fruit, cheese, honey and more. It is very easy to get to other places from there, including the old part of the city if you are a tourist. We would definitely stay there again on a visit to Lyon.

This is a wonderful, modern, clean, convenient property. The owner (Anne) is an exceptionally kind and helpful person who is the perfect host and a really beautiful person. The Croix Ruisse neighborhood is a great area--be prepared for some hill walking when you return from forays to other neighborhoods (of course, you can also take mass transit). If you enjoy markets, well there is almost always a market on the nearby boulevard. There are also plenty of good restaurants and cafes within a few blocks of the Loge. All in all, a great place to stay in Lyon.

We spent 2 nights for our eastern break with my wife and my 2 daughters in Lyon and stayed in Les Loges du Theatre in the red room. The place is really well located in the really area of La Croix Rousses, a kind of village in Lyon and a good place to start your visit. We walked during our 2 days tour. The place : nice, design, good breakfast. The host : Anne gave us a lot of advices & Tips (restaurants to go, museum, ...), explained us the history of the area. She is pleasant and it It is really interesting to exchange with her. The room : red - enough for our family, big bathroom. I would definitely recommend my friends to go there if they want to visit Lyon. We will for sure come back as we have been able to only go in one of the restaurant (Chez Lucien) that she recommended (really good experience).
