    • Not impressed

      Reviewed 15 August 2019

The lofts are nice, good size and pleasantly decorated. My main issue is with parking and the overall check-in and check-out experience. Finding parking is a pain, and the area is full of homeless people with addiction issues. It is not the greatest walk from the parking to the apartments. The check-in procedure is complicated, you have to call them to give them the credit card info for incidentals, and wait for them to send you the entry code. The issue is, they tend to not answer the phone call. Once in the room, the air conditioning and fans are not working very well. Finally, when checking out you have to wash the towels and dishes before you leave; this is OK for a cheap Airbnb, but not for a $400+/night place. Overall, this feels like a rip-off. For the same money, you can stay at a normal full-service hotel.

Although this apartment looks wonderful it is in a terrible location. There are bums and homeless people wandering outside the door. To go from the parking lot to the apartment requires walking through shady dark streets with loiterers hanging out in doorways. Human excrement was found near my car with dirty toilet paper. In spite of what I was told by Les Lofts It is NOT in walking distance to any site. You must climb a kilometer uphill just to get to the Parliament. The grocery down the street is also full of unsavory characters and the cooling section does not work, my orange juice and yogurt were spoiled! Yuk! This apartment is beautiful inside, clean and functioning but it is the only good thing I can say. It is NOT a good place for a family. Dont be deceived!

    • Pretty good choice

Pro's - great location, close to waterfront and old Quebec - grocery store is a 1 minute walk away - property looks exactly as you see in pictures, in fact, it's even bigger than expected - customer service very good. They respond by email or phone quickly. - main floor location allowed us to easily bring our bikes in - washer/dryer - roof top patio - they have a helpful booklet with lots of info on the loft and area's around. Con's - bed is only a queen and very, very cheap - being on the ground floor meant we couldn't open our blinds (facing an alleyway and garbage/recycle cans) which in turn meant apartment was very dark. No windows in the bedroom so even darker - bathroom is located on the opposite side of the bedroom, so in the middle of the night you must walk up a hallway and around the kitchen to get to it - like someone else said, a/c is in living room, so must make it cold to get bedroom comfortable. There should be fan's in the bedroom - there is no outdoor space other than the rooftop patio. It's small but nice, however with no umbrella's it was just too hot to use it - kitchen is minimally equipped. 4 place settings, toaster, coffee maker. If you want a strainer, good chef's knife, blender or anything else, I suggest you bring from home. Otherwise good for breakfast and lunch or simple dinners which we did do ourselves. - I noticed some establishments in Quebec leave a 'tip' envelope. Because there is no daily housekeeping and at the end of your stay you are requested to strip the bed, put sheets and towels in washer, start dishwasher and bring garbage/recycle to basement I think it is quite tacky to request a tip

    • Amazing loft close to the city center

      Reviewed 03 July 2019

We stayed at the penthouse loft of the building and it was more than we expected it to be. Lots of space, complete kitchen with everything you need, large bathroom, lots of windows (except for the 2nd bedroom), parking around the corner. would definitely recommend this place.

    • Home away from Home

      Reviewed 17 June 2019

We loved the clean, spacious and tastefully furnished two bedroom apartment. Located in lower town, it was an easy walk to all the Old Quebec sites and shops and museums and tours. Very good beds, sufficiently stocked kitchen, washer/dryer and comfortable living room furniture made it feel like home away from home. Perfect for two couples. We will return!
