ReviewedThere are several good things to say about this hotel! The staff is amazing, the free ride to Downtown is very handy, the breakfast is very good, the heated pool is nice! But I must point that there are things that could be better! We stayed one night in the duplex suite! We had a living room in tne ground floor and the bedroom and bathroom in the upper floor! The room was clean, charmless! We were looking for some cozy and romantic decoration! We were disappointed! There was mold in the bathroom! We didnt have the free afternoon tea, but we came for the night soups! Although they were complimentary, I found just two selections only!
LiyllyGreat location and service
ReviewedMy husband and I stayed at the hotel over a three-day holiday weekend. The hotel is located very close (10 min walk) to the city center, which makes it very convenient. We stayed in a Luxury Suite, which was spacious with nice accommodations. The room was on the bottom floor of the building, and it was very quiet. Yet, the hallway was a little dark. The view from our room was not impressive (wall and other buildings), but we didnt intend to spend much time on the deck. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of items. The hotel also offers a tea service with bites to eat. It also offers soup later in the evening, which we did not try. They helped us arrange a taxi to a restaurant one evening, and this was done with ease. The hotel feels a little expensive for the value, but I think many things are expensive in this tourist destination.
CZ1143Right choice for us in Campos de Jordao
ReviewedSpent the long weekend with my wife at Le Renard. The hotel is very well located, two blocks from the buzzing center of CDJ, close enough for a nice stroll to get there but far enough to ensure a quiet sleep. The hotel offers a free shuttle service until 100 am that comes very handy if you want to go somewhere further. The premises are fairly new and the rooms are well equipped, including bathrooms that seem recently renovated. We did not use the heated pool, gym or sauna but visited and looked very fine. We found the hotel quite expensive (R$1,300 per night) for NorthAmerican standards but this is the problem with Brazilian hotels and supply/demand dynamics. Hotel staff, reception and restaurant were super friendly and try hard to accommodate our needs and make our stay pleasurable. Hotel includes certain interesting extras like free afternoon tea at the restaurant and free hot soup between 1930 and 2100 pm which for us was enough for dinner the first night. The hotel restaurant is clean and tidy with a limited menu. We did not used it since CDJ has amazing dinning options. The breakfast was pretty good with a good selection of breads, eggs and fruits and on Sunday included live saxo music. The hotel is small (30 rooms) and family friendly. I certainly will repeat if we come back to CDJ

WAVANCININormal in the class
ReviewedThe hotel is nice and quiet in the good location in the city. The quality of the breakfast also is good with enough variation. The only negative point was wifi that the quality was not good enough with some disconnection! Finally in compare with the quality the price is a little high.
