      The hotel looks very nice. Beautiful and confortable rooms, kind workers, good beach with corals right in front, but many problems. The bad quality food on breakfast. The staff that barely speaks english (even the guy who order taxis!). The superior room has a partial view of the sea (there is a building in front, but it says nothing on booking.com). We had to ask 3 times for towells because they didnt leave us any. And they didnt clean the room, we had to ask twice. The shower was clogged. They charged me for the first night on my credit card eventhough on booking they write they wouldn't do it so I could pay in cash. The wifi was horrible!

      Location is beautiful, nice beach with this eglu bad , so chill. 4 swimming pools. Rooms are spacious and clean and comfortable with nice see view. Crew very kind and helpful. I will definitely come back again.

      AVOID this hotel at any cost, dirty and management doesn't really care. Food is terrible as well. We had to call the reception upon arriving because the towels were not clean, it seems like they don't change the towels. The bed had a stain on it. The mirrors where dirty. The bathtub was filthy. We couldn't believe this is a 5-star hotel if it was up to me this hotel would get a 2-star rating. I asked to speak with the manager of the hotel to discuss and let him know, they told me he was busy and will call me when he is done with meetings. He never did. Clearly, they must know that the hotel is not up to specs and he doesn't really care. We also got sick from eating in, we know it's the hotel because that was the only meal we had at this point. Both my wife and I got really sick after having breakfast at the hotel's buffet.

      Very good impression overall. Highly recommended if you like hot weather and eastern flair. It was our first visit to Egypt, so difficult to compare to anything else. The hotel is situated outside Dahab, one need a taxi to get to the town. the shuttle service is once per day, which is not enough. The hotel is modern and new, though it has a bit strange design solution with like window opening from bathroom to bedroom and other small weird features. But everything was clean and in good working condition. Overall all is convenient except light - no upper light, very dark. The mountain and see views are excellent. The beach is really good, no crowds, there are some corals on the territory,but not impressive. But you can find plenty of snorkeling and diving in Sinai, beside hotel beach. Beside normal sunshade, there are very nice rattan 'shelters' where you can completely hide from the sun, I just loved them. The food in the hotel is OK, but if you want to try , you can find very good restaurants in Dahab, cheaper and tastier than in the hotel. The service is friendly but very 'eastern'. Be careful with all currency exchanges and calculations. The majority of shops will only take Egyptian pounds in cash. Only big shops, hotel and tourist companies will take dollars and other currencies. Be careful. Any time you need to get change or convert to different currency, be ready they will make mistake to their favour.

    • Ok but improvable

      We spent one week in september and globally I would consider our stay in the hotel pleasant. Yet there are some defects that worth to be mencioned. First of all even though we had reached the hotel at 6pm they kept us waiting more than 30 minutes for the room. The room had nice interior design but not really well manteined. Sofa and pillow so dirty and no hairdryer is provided. The second day we found a cockroach in the toilet floor which was totally disgusting. I would say that the housekeeping is not well done and can easily be noticed from the toilet condition. The common areas, beach and swimming pools and spa are quiet and confortable. The hotel should provide more service: two shuttle heading to the citycenter in the evening are not enough and the last one at 10.30 pm is definitely too early and I wouldnt call it a good costumer service. The had experience we had faced it was in the restaurant. Food is in general good. The chefs are kind and willing to fullfil your expectation. But waiters are compltely unprofessional and I think not well trained. During the breakfast you would never be attended if you dont call them to come over. During dinner they use to interrupt you while eating just to inform you that your dinner has to be paid and even they close and bring you the bill even before you finish to eat. This is completely unacceptable and annoying. Need urgent training for the personnel over there. The staff - not all of them but generally speaking- it hasnt the sense and manners of five stars hotel.
