      The property was clean and service was friendly, the grounds were nice, the property is older, but worth the price. Everything you would need was near the hotel, eating and shopping. I noticed they also allowed people to have their pets, nice addition.

    • Dirty, Loud Rooms

      The trip started off bad when my coworker got to the front desk to check us into our 2 rooms where they told us we only had one room booked despite the fact that we had the reservation number and confirmation printed out for both rooms and had called the week prior to verify as well. Front desk lady said they had switched to a new system and our 2nd room reservation wasnt showing in the system now. Luckily she did end up being able to find us a second room. There was a big event in town that weekend and all of their rooms were completely sold out along with every hotel in the area. Once I got to my room, I noticed a bottle of cleaning solution that the cleaning person had left on the table. The bathroom was disgusting. There was hair all over on the toilet seat and bathtub. There was hair on the bed and pillows. It was getting late, I had to be up early to work, and I knew they had no other rooms to switch me to so I found a pillow with no hair on it and slept without covers as they seemed dirty. The second I shut my eyes I was startled by a loud noise that sounded like a jet flying right by my room. It wasnt a jet, it was the air conditioner! It was so loud I eventually had to completely shut it off and sleep uncomfortably hot because it was impossible to sleep with the loud noises it would make every time it kicked on. I wish TA would let us upload video on our reviews so I could post what this air conditioner sounded like. I couldnt wait to leave this dirty hotel- definitely would not stay again or recommend it to anyone.

      Stayed here for a night as was dropping off at the college. Fairly basic hotel. Room was ok. Had a musty smell to it. Place was fine yet nothing great. Breakfast was fair enough. Staff was great. Would stay here again if nothing else available.

      Breakfast wasn't worth the cost. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. Does not meet anyone's quality Rate was reasonable but it should have been even better. Save your money there are better plaes for you $'s

    • Disappointed - Super 8 (next door) may not have been better but it was half the price

      Was traveling with a friend, and although I'll stay at Super 8 she wanted something nicer. OK. La Quinta was the chain my parents liked. Super 8 room was $50 La Quinta $100. Must be nicer. Nope. The room itself was fine, newer carpet, furniture and bedding BUT it was poorly maintained. The bathroom floor looked OK but when we stepped out of the tub our feet turned black. Wiped them on a towel - the floor hadn't been mopped since??? The hall carpets had a lot of debris every few feet as if they hadn't been vacuumed. Breakfast - the milk was sour (I told the front desk, it was removed and two other people told me their carton of milk was sour. Whey they didn't tell the front desk is beyond me.) Also, some of the bread was moldy. Now I will say that everyone who works there is very nice and tries to make things right. I see this as a failure of management. Someone has to be in charge of training the cleaners and inspecting their work. Someone has to make sure breakfast items are rotated so they dont spoil. Maybe La Quintas are no longer owned by individuals (Hilton bought the chain) and that is the problem. Lastly La Quinta has gone to the dogs - literally - they allow dogs in every room. This would explain the bites on my feet and ankles in the morning. We called them fleabags for a reason. Until La Quinta makes a policy to have NO PET rooms, just like non-smoking rooms, I will not consider them when looking for a room.
