Very nice hotel. Good value! Will use it again when visiting family in the area. Nice location, close to everything. Easy access to highway. Desk staff and cleaning staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

    • Often stay in LaQuintas and this is worst LaQuinta I've been in. Do NOT recommend.

LaQuinta Springdale, AR Ive stayed in La Quintas frequently for years and this is the worst I have ever stayed in and would not stay in this one again. Most LaQuintas are being renovated since Wyndham bought them but this one has not been and is definitely in need of some serious upgrading and refreshing. PROS: - Gentleman who worked the front desk in the evening was very friendly and accommodating. - Pet friendly. This LaQuinta continues to NOT have a pet fee which is greatly appreciated. Almost all LaQuintas used to accept pets at no extra charge but many are now charging pet fees since Wyndham bought them. Listen up, Wyndham LaQuintas: No pet fee is the reason MANY travelers have used you for years. If you charge a pet fee like other hotel brands do, youve taken away the incentive for us to stay at LaQs rather than at another hotel. Thank you to this LaQ for continuing to not charge for pets. - The refrigerator had a little freezer in it. Too many hotel refrigerators do not have freezers (including at some other LaQuintas) which is a major problem when traveling if you need to refreeze ice packs overnight to keep medications or food cold in your travel cooler when back on the road. -Air conditioning had a choice of a constant on fan which we really like since it acts as white noise. Some hotel air conditioners fans cycle on and off and the noise stopping and starting constantly wakes me up throughout the night in those rooms. The constant white noise of the ACs fan staying on in this LaQ aided sleeping. CONS: - While acknowledging that anyone can have a bad day (or in this case, days), the young woman who worked the front desk in the afternoons was less than friendly. She came across as annoyed with guests, as if we were bothering her by coming to the front desk and she would have liked us to leave, and she acted almost as if she were on a power-trip looking down on we peons who were daring to ask for assistance checking into/out of the hotel, or needing other questions addressed. - Carpet in our room was filthy. It was definitely a hotel room where you could not let your bare or sock-covered feet touch the carpet or they would be black. We had to keep our shoes on all the time except when in bed or showering. Vacuuming will not help this carpeting. It needs professional deep steam cleaning. - Everything in our room was WET! While the air conditioner kept our room cool, it was definitely not pulling moisture out of the air and seemed to be somehow bringing moisture into the room. The carpet was damp. The sheets and pillows were damp so we got to sleep in a damp bed. All of our clothes got damp. When we checked out, I left my nightgown out of my suitcase so that when we got to our next hotel I could hang it up for a while to hopefully dry it a bit so I didnt have to sleep in a wet nightgown yet again in a different hotel. This is something I have never experienced in a hotel before and it was YUCK! - Coffee was not good at all and I couldnt drink it despite really wanting and needing my morning coffee (maybe its the local water?? Dont know. If so, they need to start making coffee with bottled spring water). Breakfast was otherwise unremarkable and not particularly appetizing and I settled for some plain cold cereal and a piece of toast. English muffins would have been welcomed but were not available.

Great place to stay! However, if you are diabetic you need to plan on providing your own breakfast. The waffles and muffins are really good if only I could eat them every day. Nestled between the convention center and Denny's made it perfect for our business at the convention center.

We were here for a large conference, and arrived about the same time as many other attendees. The front desk was overwhelmed, but they were patient, friendly, and professional nonetheless. As far as our room, we had one of their suites that actually was two rooms with a connecting door. There was a large counter in the room. My only (small) complaint would be that there were only two chairs for the suite, and it would have been nice to have 3. The suite had a refrigerator, microwave, and plenty of outlets. I highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at this property, and understood that the brand had recently switched hands. It was clean, and the mostly continental breakfast was good. it was a good location to get to Rogers, Fayetteville and Bentonville. The pool was covered and that made it seem a little musty, but there were afternoon showers each day so the cover allowed us to enjoy it. There was always people in it.
