Afraid after 4 weeks of rain in UK I just booked here with little research. Nice clean safe hotel, friendly staff yes.. But this isn't the 80s and you should expect that as a minimum, the hotel shouldn't be rated 4 star just for that. Not much else going for it. Half hr walk each way to town or beach, nothing local and as a result prices are high. 4 star and can't even make a tea or coffee in room, no iron. I've stayed in 15 a night rooms in Blackpool with more facilities. Price for a week was very high, probably because I travelled alone, another rip off but they all do it. Book somewhere in town....

I spent only one night there. 70 euros during high season is not that bad for benidorm. Outdoor pool is chill. The breakfast buffet is limited but it is only 6euros. Rooms are clean, and its inside a mall, so everything is close

My first visit to Benidorm The hotel caught my eye for the design and a keen price. Good pool some days just me and my partner other days 30-40 people enjoying stag and hen parties, So the hotel can be a bit noisy, Small gym. Breakfast basic but not bad. the restaurant was not open for lunch or dinner we went out every evening so much choice about 20-30 minutes from the hotel I would recommend the old town. Nice clean rooms with a fantastic hot shower NO KETTLE IN THE ROOMS. Tv with some uk channels. Small fridge for your booze. Good views of the mountains. Excellent supermarket below Closed on Sundays. The hotels a little bit remote. We walked 70miles in a week which is no problem for us. but you can get a taxi out side the hotel.

Booked this hotel through Expedia for a short get away. I had never been to Benidorm before so was looking forward to coming. After reading some of the reviews I was terrified before even walking into the hotel to find out someone had been robbed and there wasn't much security however, I did not want this to cloud my judgment. On arrival we were greeted (after about 20 minutes of standing around waiting for someone to attend to us) by a lovely lady who checked us in earlier than planned. When we got to the room we had been upgraded to two double beds. The rooms were really nice, spacious and had everything you could need. However, the windows open as wide as anything and do not lock properly so I did not feel safe at all. Our shower was slightly broken but it wasn't a massive issue for us so we left it. The hotel is above a bus station and what seems to be an abandoned shopping centre. It does not feel safe around here at all and you get quite the character of people. As young girls we did not feel safe and every night popped a chair against the door to make sure if somebody did try to get in we would hear it. In the rooms you can hear everything every night I was awoken at 1am and 3am to doors being slammed. After seeing a review on here advising to turn left out the hotel and walk down the road under the train station we took that route to the town and found that the quickest. Although a taxi was only 7 euro. The Food: The variety of food is extremely poor at the hotel I felt. As one of our party was Vegan there was nothing to accommodate for this. The breakfast was extremely basic and I found it hard to find anything flavoursome. I would recommend saving your pennies and going into the town for food. Totally recommend Yorkshire Pride in the town to anyone visiting! Pool Area: I was very disappointed with the pool to start with as it was all the same depth (which was quite shallow) and very small compared to photographs. However it was a very nice place to chill out in the sun. On our final day there the bar was open and music was playing, was a shame this wasn't throughout the week otherwise we would have spent a lot more money at the hotel. There was what seemed to be a school trip visiting when we were there also, they took up all the deck chairs (there aren't many) and pool area one day for several hours which as guests at the hotel I had nothing against. However, a lot of them did not use the deck chairs they had claimed and adults were seen walking away because there were no seats left. If they were not being used they should not be claimed in my opinion with a towel. Another issue I had was the kids were bombing, screaming, diving in etc. with no supervision at all. My friend and I were very worried about them bashing their heads as the pool is very shallow. There was a sign with these rules in but these were ignored by the kids. I even had one of the boys knock on our door at 11pm at night, it did not feel safe and felt like they were left for a free for all. Overall, this hotel was ok to stay at but I would not be returning.

This hotel is not as far from the Strip/Beach as you may think. I actually discovered that if you go left and round the hotel, go under the railway line, it is a 10 minute walk down hill and through parks and then meets up to main road, head to the beach. Price is reflective of condition, really needs to have a lick of paint and minor maintenance. Staff overall friendly enough, and rooms are cleaned daily.
