    • Amazing stay during our honeymoon!

      Reviewed 17 July 2019

We stayed here 2 nights during our honeymoon and loved La Dolce Vita. Our room was spacious and had an incredible view. Jennifer was so welcoming and accommodating - helping us with all of luggage up and down the stairs. We met Madalena, the owner, at her and her husband Paschal's ceramics store which we loved and bought a few things from. Highly recommend stopping by! It was also my husband's birthday during our stay. My mother-in-law somehow got in touch with Madalena late in the evening and asked if she could help buy a birthday cake for my husband. She even offered to make it herself! But she went out to the bakery in the morning and bought a beautiful cake and had it delivered to us in the morning. Very helpful of her. Thank you so much to all of the staff at the hotel. We loved our stay!

    • Absolutely Amaxing Stay

Just home our stay at La Dolce Vita in Ravello and we are already talking about returning. I cannot fault one thing about La Dolce Vita, we definitely struck lucky when we booked to stay here. From the moment we arrived Jennifer made us feel welcome and showed us around our huge and immaculate apartment complete with 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, minibar even 2 hairdryers (which came in very handy), and not forgetting our balcony with the most fabulous views, we could have sat here all day. We stayed for 4 nights and each morning the lovely Jennifer would bring us a beautiful breakfast to our balcony where we sat and ate with those views - heaven! Every afternoon our apartment was cleaned to perfection and towels replenished. I cannot praise Jennifer and her colleaugue enough they were so professional and friendly, offering tips and recommendations from transport to shops to restaurants!. Another gem was the little wine cooler which was outside our room stocked with beautiful wines and proseccos (reasonably priced) we had a lovely bottle of prosecco on the balcony on a couple of occasions. I would recommend La Dolce Vita to everyone, whilst its a short (5 min) walk from the main square it so quiet and peaceful and the perfect getaway! We are already planning out next trip!

    • Terrific hotel with Sea view

      Reviewed 19 May 2019

La Dolce vita in Ravello is owned by an old prominent family and they keep the renovations and service top notch. Our room had an amazing view of the sea and was on the path to walk down to Minori. The owners Madalina and Pascal also own a ceramic shop with handmade items and will ship free for orders over $200. When we arrived 2 helpers carried our bags up the 70 steps to room and it was amazing. Breakfast was served outside each morning on the balcony and tailored to our wants by Jennifer. The owners son ,Guido took us to their new restaurant in Scala which had even better views of sea and delicious food. The town of Ravello is a 5 minute walk away . Ravello is still very authentic Italian and not as touristy as Positano . This place is so worth the $ and we cant wait to go back .

    • Amazing view and very nice room

The check in process is super easy, you have to call the property owner though as there is no office, so keep that in mind. The view is breathtaking and the owner brings you breakfast each morning which is nice. They also have a maid that comes by, the location is quiet and away from all the tourist. WiFi is actually pretty strong here, as opposed to other hotels where it is not even worth connecting. Another thing to note is when you get to Ravello, you'll have to go down the ramp and towards the music hall. It is off to the left an you'll have to go down 2 flights of stairs so watch your luggage!
