    • Everglade and Alligator Fun

We had a great time at Holiday Park. The alligator show was fun and informative. Yes we held our breath. The airboat tour was amazing. We saw four alligators and learned so much. We had the best tour guide. Had a really good snack and lunch bar. Definetly a must visit. Less than 30 minutes for Fort Lauderdale.

Definitely recommend taking advantage of this place if you are close by. Our guide KC was professional, personable and very knowledgeable. Cost for the airboat ride included a photo they took right before your excursion and was ready for pick up when you got back. My teenagers enjoyed every part of the day. Thank you KC and the staff at Everglades Holiday Park for a perfect family day.

The tour was so much fun; Captain Bob was great. He interacted with the group well and we had fun, saw alot of Gators. The problem is with the food and concession. There was 1 window with only 2 people working and at least 3 busloads-worth of people going for food. Further, I understand that this is an excursion/tour, but the prices versus the rations were crazy. The gator bites with fries is $12 and only comes with only 5 pieces (literally) that looks like they were from the bottom of the bag and a ton of fries. The gator bites alone were $9 and comes with 7-10 pieces, that are the same size as above. Then the chicken was good but 5 party wings was $6.50. I understand that this is an excursion and people are expected to spend money, but I think it needs to be understood that because it's a tourist attraction, business WILL be there. We can't be expected to enjoy ourselves by funneling money for expected tips and then be expected to pay alot of money for a little bit of food. I would just suggest offering bigger servings at the current prices or lowering prices and/or illustrating what we're about to spend money on.

Captain Erik baby face did an awesome job and we saw 3 gators. Would definitely come back. While we did book for a certain time, it was not necessary. You just needed to come on that day
