    • Various reasons for a rather negativ rating

      Reviewed 02 September 2019

We arrived early and therefore rooms where not yet cleaned, so maybe it's why the cleaning was rushed. Also it's Winter so the room might not be rented out all times... therefore cleanness was an issue in a particular. Little comfort and well aged interiors. (Not talking about the antiques). To be fair, Sara the host was very nice, took well care of our requirements and also took our critics serious. The farm is in a scenic spot but a 30 min drive away over a gravel road to Addo NP. We would probably pick next time a self catering unit at the park.

It was a bit difficult finding two separate rooms for a father and daughter travelling together at an affordable rate. The cottage was modern, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was also great and kept us going for a day in Addo. The only suggestion I would make for other guests is that if you want to be in Addo early perhaps skip the breakfast as their earliest seating on this visit was 8h15 so we only got to the park at 9 which isnt ideal if you want to be in the park as early as possible.

What an amazing trip. We always look for something unique, and this place offers it all. The glass roof of Saturnus is exceptional and waking up to a sunrise over the bushveld is beautiful. Amazing experience. We will be back.

We had an amazing stay at Kududu guest house. We had some trouble finding the accommodation because we used google maps. However, this was completely our own fault because they provided us with a route description. The room was really good and we slept like babies. In the morning we got a delicious breakfast. The owner even took us for a drive to spot some giraffes (which we could not find).

    • Beautiful location !

Normally we always spend the night in Addo Park directly. This time we were too late and found with Kududu Guest House a very good alternative. Half an hour drive to the park and beautifully situated in the citrus orchards, we felt very comfortable there. The terrain is very large and Jakob gave us a wonderful game drive including a sundowner at the perfect spot at the perfect time. The only small point of criticism: breakfast could be a bit more varied.
