    • Always a pleasure to stay with the Kudu Ridge family. Perfect place to stay when in Addo.

Five years ago we were in Kudu Ridge for the first time and each time we are back in South Africa we make sure to visit again. It is a great way to visit Addo Elephant Park, very closeby. The family Bowren is the most friendly family and they will go out of their way to make your stay as lovely as possible. You can choose to stay in a lovely permanent tent with everything you need or in a chalet. Both very comfortable, we always prefer the tent since it gives us a safari feeling. :) Lovely bar area with outside fireplace to sit and watch the starts and chat with new friends. Home made dinner is fantastic each night. We can defenatly recommend this place to everyone who is visiting Addo area. Brian, Jenny, Ali and Andrew: thanks for having us again and we will defenatly be back again! Miss you guys already! Love. Pierre & Joyce.

Was there with a group of people! Through our 14 days trip this was one of the most basic stays! Rooms need urgently update and the bathroom in 2019 can not be sooo basic! Looked also dirty! Slept with my cloths! The chalet with the fire in the center was nice! No heating i nthe rooms so it was really cold! No Wi-Fi in rooms!

    • Hospitality ...like visiting friends

We enjoyed 2 wonderful evenings at Kudu Ridge Game Lodge - as we spent the days in Addo. The accommodation is basic and comfortable, and what absolutely makes the place a great place to stay is the hospitality of the great hosts Andrew and Alison - who make you feel as if you are visiting friends. The evening meals are super tasty and enjoyed around the fire pit. Just wonderful. The walks on the farm with their Pointer dogs as guides - great experience and opportunity to really get to know the local plants. Thank you for the great and exceptional hospitality.

    • Fantastic stay

Stayed for 2 nights at this wonderfull place. Alisson contacted me beforehand for the gate code and welcomed me afterwards with open arms. I had a braai the first night which was really good. She made special arrangements to make it gluten and dairy free for me. The concept to chat around the camp fire was brilliant. Nice to have a chat with other travellers and the family ranch owners. Breakfast was good, chalet was nice and tidy. Perfect for adventurers. I got tips for activities and restaurants. Very personal. If you haven't noticed already, i extremely recommend this place! Thank you andrew, alisson and family !

Enjoyed our weekend very much. Very homely and friendly hosts. A home away from home weekend felt well relaxed. Only one thing that I would do in the winter months is maybe a electric blanket Otherwise 10/10 for my stay.
