    • The very best stay of a very long weekend

      Reviewed 05 September 2019

We were very lucky to find this resort. We ere directed here by because our chosen resort was full that night. This resort was far and away superior to all the other three resorts at which we stayed including our original choice. The atmosphere when entering is very special with a tree filled gully and pool. The room was splendid with a truly luxurious style. Out of a panoramic 150 degree front window we watched birds squirrels and an occasional monkey climbing in nearby trees. The restaurant was also well attended in the evening with h a very good breakfast. A very genuine good feeling about the place.

    • Dissapointing

I booked a family bungalow for 1 night thinking it would be a great experience for my 3 kids to stay In a treehouse in a semi jungle setting. However, I was disappointed by its authenticity. The resort is man made. The treehouses are not In trees rather built on concrete structures made to look like trees. The waterfall that runs through the middle of the resort on first inspection seemed real. However when the waterfall noise ceased at 10pm I realised that too was man made. The rooms are basic and suitable for 1 night - I would have struggled for any longer. Beware of the dogs and monkeys. Its amusing initially to watch the 5 dogs chase the monkey around the resort barking incessantly, how ever at 3.00am its not funny. There is a resident monkey that visits the top bungalows. However, great to see close up but also quite intimidating. We booked the tubing excursion which I have to say was the highlight of our visit. We had a brilliant local guide who pointed out loads of snakes, birds, monkeys and landmarks whilst also ensuring my kids 11,10 and 8 had fun in the rapids.

    • Very nice resort!

Great resort, set in a treehouse kind of setting. Very good place to stay (we were in a deluxe room) with nice views of the jungle. It was amazing to stay here; very nice atmosphere and very relaxing. Wish we could stayed longer then two nights... Nice restaurant too. Also its a good base for exploring Khao Sok NP: you can borrow dry bags and towels at the reception and leave your luggage there. They can also book al kind of tours for you, We've done the two day trip to Khao Sok and tubing. Very nice, would stay again!

    • A good stay

Just done 2 nights here. Staff are great and will look after you. Its a bit dated and needs some TLC, especially the rooms. However, you are in a treehouses in the jungle, which is amazing when it rains!! The pool is good for a quick dip when back from your day trip. Breakfast is all you need. Its a 10/15 min walk into town but it is a very muddy route - for me that was the main downfall. Value for money, and for the experience of the treehouse, its worth a look.

    • Great stay shame about the weather!

      Reviewed 22 August 2019

We stayed here overnight and the staff were very friendly and helpful and we were in a twin treehouse which was clean, comfortable and had a fridge and flat screen TV and was good for the price. Sadly the weather was not on our side and the downfall of being in a treehouse with a tin roof is it is incredibly noisy and very difficult to sleep. So bear that in mind. The breakfast was fair, fruit, yoghurts, cereal, pancakes, eggs (fried, scrambled or omelette) bacon, frankfurter, ham and toast. So no complaints. If you get fair weather it would have been great!
