Jasmine resort is a fantastic place to stay. There is 5 bungalows very spacious and well appointed. Bed is very large firm and not uncomfortable. Basic bathroom supplies kettle and fridge. Owners Klaus and spider make this location amazing. Klaus checked us in and gave us excellent information and booked us with local tours. Spider runs the kitchen and makes delicious breakfasts and authentic Thai dinners. Location is excellent a few 100m to river and national park entry. We did night trek in jungle with Tuk who Klaus recommended. He was amazing we saw all kinds of creatures even though it was raining. A full lake cruise day and cave visit amazing experience. Finally elephant sanctuary visit where we washed an elephant and the river kayak tour was great and we saw monkeys. Fantastic place to stay. You need 2-3 nights to explore this area. Jasmine offers great location and excellent hospitality. We felt very well cared for here

We stayed as a family of 3 in April. The villa was spotlessly clean and spacious with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and gardens. Klaus and Spider are amazing hosts, with local knowledge and authentic Thai food using herbs from their garden pots. Highly recommend!

Klaus and Spider are a great couple who really ensure that you are guaranteed to make the most of a visit to the area. The bungalows are kept spotlessly clean, the place is peaceful, quiet and in a beautiful setting. The pool is also a very welcome addition - particularly when returning from a hot and humid trek in the park. Now on to the two best things about our stay at the Jasmine Garden Resort... We booked two national park treks through Klaus - one a night trek and the other a longer half day excursion. Klaus uses only one trusted guide, Tuk, and he is simply awesome! It's amazing how he spots wildlife which is so well hidden. On the night trek we saw spiders, snakes, scorpions, some kind of weird cat thing and many other species too numerous to remember! In the day Tuk guided us to a beautiful river spot where the swimming was just sublime. He then prepared hot drinks for us in cups which he'd just fashioned from a freshly cut bamboo pole, complete with sturdy handles - and he boiled the bamboo rain water too! Best cup of tea ever! Chatting with Tuk was fascinating and you really get a sense of how he loves being in the forest. Tuk - you rock! Secondly, a massive thanks to Spider. She is such an amazing cook and was brilliant dealing with my wife's nut allergy. Each day we left the culinary decisions up to her and when we came to sit down for the evening meal every dish was outstanding. Spider also happens to be lots of fun and it was great spending time with us all just laughing and joking together. Thanks guys for the many fond memories - the experience really couldn't have been any better.

In Thailand you are always spoiled with a warm welcome. I would say that this was done in a more european efficient way. Good information, good service if needed but with not a lot of warmness which you would like to feel as a guest. Unfortunately there was no breakfast and diner available during our stay and electricity was down the day we left. Kids complaint a little about the water taste and beds were quite hard. Please make sure to check if you would like to have the full service on booking the place because for the rest we really liked the facilities of the cottage we stayed in (air co, clean, nice veranda). Information about tours was also very usefull when we checked in.

This was the perfect place for us to stay while visiting khao Sok National Park. Klaus was extremely helpful with booking activities for us and did not steer us wrong. Each activity was well worth the money, efficient, and professional. Klaus is very efficient and the place is beautifully maintained. Bungalows are clean, comfortable and spacious. I would definitely recommend it to friends or family and would not hesitate to return. We did not try the restaurant but others gave it a thumbs up.The property is among a small neighborhood strip of businesses at the entrance to the park nearby the river.
