    • Newish and in Ikea style but poor service

While they do have a laundry service when I asked where I could hang my wet laundry to dry I was told, on your bed. I had to rig a laundry line outside. Poor internet in our room ( I couldnt connect there). No toilet paper in the ground floor womens washroom, two toilet stalls out of service, no soap in the six dispensers. No kettle in the kitchen, four induction stove tops which no one could figure out how to turn on.

    • Worst stay of my Camino! Virtual Sweat Box

While this hostel was very clean and modern, that is where the positives stop. The whole place has a very sterile empty feel to it. There was no common area to hang out which I feel add to this lack of atmosphere. When I arrived at my room after a long wait to check in I found that I had not been provide with any bed sheets or told on check in that I would need to rent a towel. All this could be forgiven as it was a very busy season for the hostel but the heat in the rooms was unbearable. The only turned on the air con intermittently and for very short periods. The location of the hostel is really not great for the Camino. It is quite a bit of the path and located up a very steep hill which is not want you want to face after a long day of walking.

Price does not reflect the quality of this hostel. The widows dont open so you will bake alive in the night. The rooms are unbelievably stuffy. They hallways werent lit as well. Overall hot and creepy vibe. The people at the reception are extremely nice and helpful but nothing positive besides that.

    • Spaceship in hibernation

This is quite a weird place like being in a large spaceship interior, in hibernation. The hostel is very smart, well designed, and forms the lower floor of a large office building. However the building is fully sealed within a glass curtain wall, without opening widows, totally reliant on the air-conditioning for ventilation and fresh air. What makes no sense is that the air-conditioning is only switched on for two hours in the evening. At other times it's switched off and the air feels oppressive and stale. There were no other guests in the hostel when I arrived in the afternoon, and I guess it's because it is not a user friendly environment. I moved to another hotel, with opening windows.

    • They are far too cheap to put the air con on

This place has had multiple complaints about the stuffy lack of air. It's far too warm and they only put the air con on for two hours. You can't open the windows. So it's very uncomfortable. It's a poor effort by them since the lady on reception told us they had a number of complaints about it being too warm. Its not at all cheap. Clean and new though. Free wifi. Lovely kitchen and reading room.
