My wife and I visited here twice during our weeklong trip to Santa Fe. My wife has Celiac disease and was greatful that the staff here was knowledgeable and able to provide not only fun and interesting food, but a most importantly a safe meal. We tried a variety of their dishes. Highlights included citrus artichokes, seafood paella and a very nice shrimp dish. La Boca will definitely be on our list for our next visit to Santa Fe.

Santa Fe benefits from at least four really good alternatives for Spanish and Catalan cuisine, each with their loyal supporters. La Boca is consistently packed, even on off-night Mondays, offering its own take on the standard tapas menu. The olives and grape appetizer comes laden in onion and garlic that can be a little overpowering, but the fried artichokes are a crispy delight, as are the shrimp tacos. The wine list offers some unique labels that make for good pairings. Service can be a bit rushed, however -- our server neglected to provide us with the asked-for leftovers prior to delivering the check. Seating is intimate, and the noise level can be high, but not an impediment to conversation.

We love la Boca and always go to the Taberna side to sit outside. Wonderful wait staff and great Spanish guitar player. Tapas are wonderful. Olives are the best. A really fun place to go for a lithe meal or dinner.

Tapas were great. Sharable by 2, 3 or 4 depending on the choice, they vary in size. Paella was good but not great, I missed the crusty bottom which actually flavors the entire dish when it is done in this way.
