    • Great stay

Once again The Landsby did not disappoint. Rooms are modern but cozy. Love the location, so convenient. The complementary coffee and hot chocolate was a plus. Recommend staying in room with a balcony. It was a little noisy in morning outside the window, from trucks unloading things. Recommend bring earplugs and sleep mask (window shutters let in light). We will definitely be staying here again :)

Beautiful hotel and very friendly staff. Fantastic food and drink in the restaurant/bar. Will definitely go back again. Easy check in check out. Parking on site but was $15 a night. Everything within walking distance.

Excellent for our family and friends to enjoy a weekend without driving around town. Easy to walk to in town. Classy.Rooms very clean. Beds were a little soft. Friendly. Food very good. Bar and living area very accommodating for larger groups to enjoy. I left something in the room, front desk called me and is delivering my item to my home.

I stayed at The Landsby for one night. I parked my car at the side entrance of the hotel to check-in. The check-in process was easy and friendly. Parking my car in the main parking lot was a little difficult. There were only 2 available spots, and the people in the spots next to both of the empty ones went over the line. I could barely get out of my car once I squeezed into a spot. I moved my car about an hour later on my way to take a walk down the street when another spot opened up. My room was on the 2nd floor. Beware if you have a lot of bags that there's no elevator. It wasn't a problem for me even though I had to make 2 trips. I liked the decor: cute painting on the wall, wood floors with an attractive rug, plant, good color palette. Space-wise, I think it'd be a tight fit for 2 people, but it was fine for just me. A luggage rack so I could go through my suitcase would have been nice. The bathroom is very tight. If you're tall, you may have an issue using the toilet or taking a shower. It's a good thing that there's a "please watch your head" sign in front of the toilet. I'm 5'3", and I did fine but keep that in mind if you're on the taller side. I wished there was somewhere to put my toiletries while I was in the shower - a shelf or something. Instead I had to put everything on the floor. The HVAC system in the room was great. I was hot after making 2 trips to carry my bags, but I got cold a little while later. My room had a small balcony which I checked out a few times. When the weather is nice, it might be nice to sit out there in the evening. Here are the 2 problems 1. Housekeeping didn't do an adequate job of dusting the room. Everything looked clean when I checked, but upon further inspection later that night, I noticed that the panels behind the bed and the side of the dresser were very dusty. There was also what looked like a coffee stain on the wall next to the dresser. There's no way that someone didn't notice that before! The exhaust vent in the bathroom also needed to be dusted. 2. The walls are very thin. While I appreciate that my neighbor was having a good time, hearing her laughter late into the night got annoying. Likewise, I'm sure that whoever was next door to me didn't appreciate hearing the wood panel behind my bed hit the wall every time I moved. They need to improve the soundproofing in the rooms. I can't imagine what it's like when the hotel is at full capacity. Despite the dust, the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. If there was an electrical outlet next to the bed, I didn't see it. I had to plug in my phone using the USB port on the clock. Beware if you need to plug in anything like a CPAP machine. Check-out was a breeze in the morning. The staff is very polite. I wish I had gone to the restaurant for breakfast, but I got a late start and ran out of time. While aesthetically I liked the hotel, I don't know if I could stay there again because of the soundproofing issue. Getting the housekeeping staff to do a better job should be easy.
