Clean room, right on the water, family had a fun time, and we made it into Yellowstone which was pretty quick drive in. There was a restaurant on site ,but only open minimal hours, but the one day that we ate there, the food was good. There was an arcade that my kids played in, and boat rentals which we didn't have time to rent this visit.

This was our first visit at the WWR. Found it online and booked a great RV site directly through them. We like to stay away from the crowds, so this place was great. Even though it looked like the RV spaces were about 75% booked, it still didn't feel cramped. The RV spaces are a bit unlevel and do present a sewer drainage challenge, but for the $$$ and location, this is a great place to stay, especially if you like to fish. The owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating. We did not stay in a cabin or room, so we can't comment on those facilities. As mentioned previously, it is close to the Gates of the West entrance of Yellowstone National Park. All in all our stay was extremely pleasant and we plan on staying there again.

Ive been coming here for 60 years. The location can not be beat, The lake is a true Trophy fishery. Wild Rose offers Lodging and RV spaces (and a few tent spaces as well, all within a stones throw of the lake shore. The rental boats all have newer 4 stroke engines on them, and are reliable runners. the Harbor has been dredged for increased depth in recent years. and both sides of the harbor are able to accommodate boats of considerable length and draft. most of the docks main walkways are wide and stable, those that are older are being replaced or rebuilt. Management has taken it upon themselves to preserve the original cabins that old timers are so fond of... but they too are being redesigned with spectacular effect! (check out the Mail Cabin"! for may years wild rose was just static, with no steps being taken to revitalize the infrastructure... today there are new facilities and lodging remodels going on everywhere... If your looking for a Hotel that serves you sparkling water by tuxedo'ed staff with fancy accents this place isnt for you. Its first and foremost, a FISHING LODGE and RV facility catering to the needs and desires of trophy fishermen and their familys.... That being said, there are nice rooms, competitively priced for the area, and the facility is a mere 15 min from the Gates of Yellowstone National Park. There are a half dozen other fine fishery's within a few miles drive, as well... (some rarely receiving much attention and that, by design I might add, as the locals reserve those secrets to themselves) But a fellow with a good map and a sense of adventure will find them!

Stayed here for one night. Basically it is a hotel room. Description says you have a window but some of the rooms are too low (basement level) for a useful window they do have a window though. Also our room smelled like Chinese food (grease) and we found multiple human hairs (not ours) in the sheets making us wonder if they had been washed, but they did smell clean. Otherwise the room was put together nicely (out dated) and had WIFI signal. They have access to the lake so if you are into fishing or water sports this would be a nice place to stay for a few days.
