    • Uncommon Inn, Uncommon Service

Stayed here as a part of my honeymoon. It is a small place with only 6 or 7 rooms, and the breakfasts are usually served in a communal setting in the common area with only two tables, so you meet a lot of the other guests at the hotel. That is a twist on regular bed and breakfasts, but we met lots of wonderful people from across the states and overseas. The service was outstanding; the inn is family owned and they make sure you feel like family too and will go the extra mile to help out and take care of their guests. The rooms are also very nice, and it is located in downtown Jackson. We plan to come back in the future.

Love that it is tucked away next to a pretty creek, yet it's still in easy walking distance of town. The room was beautiful, the staff incredibly helpful and welcoming, and the happy hour and breakfasts. Our room, the Swan Studio, was huge - and had a sitting area and kitchenette, but our favorite part was the ability to walk out of our room and sit by the creek. So peaceful... Note that the room does have a wall of windows and other guests frequently walked by on their way to/from their rooms. We didn't mind - we were careful to close the shades when we wanted privacy. We met the nicest people during the happy hour and the staff was happy to extend the hour to accommodate their chatty guests. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I spent 2 nights at the Inn. We had been traveling from one chain hotel to the next for a week. This was a refreshing end to our vacation. We could not have asked for more. The Inn is small, homey and checked all the boxes. We had a great view from our private balcony. Hailey was very accommodating. Sara prepared wonderful breakfasts. Nate did provide his famous quiche for one breakfast and it was wonderful. Beer and wine at 4:00 for happy hour allowed us to meet the other guests. If we ever go back to Jackson, we will definitely stay at the Inn.

    • Couldn't be a Better B&B in Jackson

Within walking distance of the Square in Jackson and located on the bank of the river is a GEM of place to stay. This B&B has it all ..... ambiance, peace and quiet, beautiful rooms with all the amenities ( great beds, spotless showers, coffee makers and coffee, etc., comfortable lounging chairs, fireplace) outdoor patio, chairs along the creek.. However the ICING on the cake was the breakfast each morning,,,,,homemade, muffins, toasties, quiche, fresh squeezed OJ served in a frostfd glass, homemade granola, and a variety of drinks. Good eats and drinks don't end with breakfast. When we returned after a day of "whatever" we were greeted with homemade cookies at the front door.. The day ended with Happy Hour with appetizers, wine and drinks. This social time was so much fun as we met, laughed and.visited with people from all over the world. The last gem of this Inn is the staff, Nate, Sara, and Haley...so congenital, ready to make a reservation for any trip, excursion, shop, restaurant or to just visit and make our stay more homey. My sister and I (ages 77 and 78) will always consider this stay a real JEWEL.

The staff and service were exceptional. Amazing breakfasts. We liked the community seating at breakfast and happy hour to get to know the other inn guests. Staff went the extra mile to make guests feel special. One of my all time favorite lodging experiences.
