Beautiful hotel with amazing staff

This gem of a hotel is situated just by the city walls and close to the travelator that goes up the hill to all the key city Piazzas .The rooms are delightful, spotlessly clean and overlook a beautiful courtyard filled with flowers . The furnishings are quirky , pretty and interesting. The breakfast delicious and a little different eg beautiful cakes , sliced fresh peaches and lovely ladies who provide drinks and replenish the buffet regularly . Excellent garage for car parking . The stars of the show are the reception staff and in particular Frederica who speaks excellent English Our hire car had broken down and the Hertz hire company in Italy only has customer services in Italian She carefully navigated the system, which was not easy , and personally returned to sort things out when the hire company failed to deliver . Nothing was too much trouble eg restaurant bookings ,local advice Please do stay here if you visit Spoleto you won't be disappointed

The family are actively involved in the operation of this hotel and it shows in cleanliness and staff attentiveness. The lovely boutique and quaint style would put it at in my opinion a Gem of establishments. Breakfast is nice and the coffee outstanding.

Stayed 2 nights. Gorgeous small hotel. Very tastefully done, beautiful public spaces. 7 minute walk to main shopping and restaurants streets (uphill!). Excellent service. Attractive room, with huge marble bathroom. Small balcony overlooking mountains. (All rooms are different.) Beautiful courtyard. Excellent breakfast comes with room, so does free wifi. Has parking garage (costs extra).

We stayed in the Hotel San Luca in Spoleto once again and we had once again a great time : great location with easy walking access to the old upper town, beautiful rooms and perfect bathrooms, all spotlessly clean and well maintained, a pretty fountain courtyard where breakfast can be had in summer, a fantastic breakfast buffet (the best for miles around), a fine garden, good wifi, the discreet presence of the cute hotel cat (but dogs are very welcome in the hotel), and especially the friendly and helpful service of all hotel staff : this is an excellent hotel and my home away from home in Spoleto !!

We were so pleasantly surprised by this beautiful hotel in walking distance of the old city (via the escalators). Our room was spacious and airy - overlooking the garden and neighbouring apricot orchard. Lovely bathroom. The staff were fantastic giving us advice on where to go and offering to make us tea etc. The breakfast, served in the beautiful courtyard. It was absolutely delicious with a huge variety of fantastic food - especially the cakes!
