Myself & my Partner Sharon , had another lovely weeks Holiday last month at the Hotel Rex, one of many regular visits every year.... The room is clean , cozy and a stunning view at night and in the Morning, watching the lovely Sunrise over the Sands together..... Lovely meals , with excellent Service. All the Staff are very busy but very friendly, helpful, polite, welcoming, nothing is too much bother for them. Thank you Jonathon & All for another lovely week at the Rex , look forward to our return in December.....

Great location. Very handy for all Weymouth has to offer. Easy access to the beach, Theatre and town shops. Friendly and helpful staff make for a pleasant stay. Parking is a bit of a problem at busy times. This zone "F" area on street parking is very limited due to it's proximity to the beach. The hotel has a 4 vehicle garage, which we used previously but was fully booked this time. There are scratch card vouchers available for the Pavillion car park. They are 1/2 the standard cost when purchased from the hotel. A great place to stay for your Weymouth visit.

We stayed for one night here and the room we had was perfectly located and had a superb view from the balcony. The foyer was mostly clean and tidy and staff friendly enough. We paid a hefty price for the room though and it just didnt quite live up to those expectations - I think the room was probably worth about 70% of what we paid... Perhaps some of our impression was clouded by the overall impression of Weymouth that seemed a bit tired. The breakfast room was also oddly located in the basement and we were situated in a small corner offshoot despite the restaurant being empty. The toast was sadly burnt and ambiance was non existent. Overall certainly not a bad nights stay but not what we had expected or hoped for.

Stayed here for one night in a single room 9 at the rear of the hotel. Hotel is well situated on the beach and near the harbour with lots of local shops and plenty to keep children occupied on the beach. A ten minute walk from Weymouth station a good place to stay if you're on a tour. Good full english breakfast but the first time with no beans which was strange, but good food cereals, juices etc. My only gripe is the noise from the back of the hotel with traffic, people shouting and screaming making it impossible to sleep until 1am and this was not a weekend! Then the Bin lorry arrived at 06:45 to empty all the glass bottles!!!

This hotel was fine for an overnight stay. I stayed in a single room which was tiny but I slept ok. It needs some modernization but was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful both at reception and breakfast. Well situated for the beach.
