The guest rooms have a view across the sea, the garden, the valley, or the original cloisters. The Parsifal Hotel features a traditional restaurant, serving Mediterranean cuisine and gluten-free options. The restaurant and terrace provide a beautiful setting for small celebrations and weddings, and can accommodate up to 60 guests. The restaurant is open at lunch and dinner and the bar provides drinks and snacks throughout the day. You will find free Wi-Fi access in public areas.

    • A Very Special Place

The Parsifal captures the essence of old Ravello and has a special ambience which can be hard to find in big corporate hotels. The minute you step through the entrance you feel the magic! Run by a group of brothers and their team who work tirelessly to provide the best experience for their guests, nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in room 22 which is a spacious room with a small balcony overlooking the breathtaking sea view below. The hotel is quite small and spotlessly clean, with a charming central garden area which feels just heavenly and is perfect for enjoying a pre dinner aperitif. There is no swimming pool, so it may not suit everyone. Breakfast is good, simple and served in the dining room. Other meals can be enjoyed on the lovely terrace overlooking the sea - what an experience! Excellent service and wonderful food - we struggled to find better value in such a lovely setting elsewhere else. Thank you so much Antonio and family for a wonderful few days in your very special hotel. We certainly hope to return.

I enjoyed a fifth stay at the Parsifal in June. I have written glowing reviews after each stay but think I have given short shrift to what makes this hotel so absolutely special -- when you stay there you feel you are living with your own Italian family! Led by Antonio and with expert help from other family members and staff, you feel cared for in a special way that you don't experience in more commercial hotels. I highly value that personal touch and find it makes my stay more relaxing and rewarding. You see it in advice on what is fresh and special to order on the restaurant menu every evening, wine pairing choices, local hikes, sightseeing opportunities, shopping experiences, and all manner of things. Traveling would be an infinitely more enjoyable if we could clone the Parsifal experience and spread it to other destinations around the globe. I can think of no higher compliment to Antonio and all of the wonderful staff who will serve you every day. I can't wait to return again.

    • This place may be a life-long habit!

As a seasoned traveller to The Parsifal in particular, and the Ravello area in general, I have first hand experience of many rooms, many climatic conditions, many encounters with people from many nations, and accordingly I am able to give an objective, balanced and comprehensive account. However, you know what it's like when something just FEELS right? After 19 years and around 7 trips, this place feels very right to me. Yes, I could say that it's great value (around 1/10th of what you could pay in this town), or I could say the food is superb (as have many folks who've come down from the 5 stars up the road, seeking value for money). It all depends on what feels right for you. If you like the idea of staying in one of the oldest buildings in Ravello, which oozes character due to its 800 year existence, and are prepared to accept that, as a private family run hotel, you may not have all the facilities offered by a corporate 5 star hotel, then it could feel right for you. If it doesn't have a pool, yet a pool facility elsewhere could be secured, then it may feel right for you. If you place great emphasis on how you are greeted and treated, then it WILL feel right for you. Yes, you should do your research, and choose the best room, choose the right time to visit, choose your activities, and get the fundamentals in order. In order to achieve this, contact Antonio directly as I have. The Parsifal has its own website and you can make your booking there at the most preferential rates. More importantly, you can ask Antonio to recommend anything, from rooms to boats to transfers for the size of your party and your requirements. This is the first time I have ever reviewed a place twice (no, I'm not on commission!). It's because Ravello, The Parsifal, and the friendship of Antonio, Leonardo, Raffelle, Luciano and the rest of the gang just FEELS right to me. Try it and you'll see what I mean.

I have stayed with a friend of mine in Parsifal Hotel and I was amazed by the nice location and the great performance of the staff. They are so helpful and cheerful The view from the terrace shows Minori and Maiori beaches and the mountains, just stunning The breakfast is decent, the food is nice, the availability of a drink was unlimited ( we could get drinks at 02:00) I have to say that me and my friend were very satisfied and pleased by our stay and we are looking forward to returning and staying again in this hotel

We stayed 8 nights in June 2019 and had a lovely stay. It is crowded in the area during high season and this hotel was very reasonable for the views/location and level of service provided. Antonio was a wonderful help to us, from finding us a place to park our car, to suggesting hikes and restaurants, to helping with the bus, to recommending day trips in the area, he was someone we looked forward to speaking with daily. The breakfast was typical italian style, but with sweeping views. The rooms are somewhat basic, but very comfortable with excellent air conditioning, which is a must in the super hot weather. Everything was sparkling clean with beautiful jasmine hanging around the patio. The only thing that could be added to make things even better is a pool!
