We attended on a fairly busy day. Staff were polite and helpful even though they were under pressure. Meals were brilliant; great portion sizes and cooked to perfection. I had a steak and it was perfect!

NOT, I must have had the wrong idea of ultimate because the edges of the pudding was like a biscuit and the inner was like I would imagine wallpaper paste to taste like, the mashed potato was heavy and stodgy however the sausages although tiny were tasty, I will not try again and I hope the next ultimate they serv will be much Improved.

We often visit and the staff seem to be different on every occasion. This time, the food was delicious but once we'd finished our meals we were ignored for ages. We had to sit staring at our empty plates while the waitress went past us several times, empty handed. The restaurant was quite empty so there was no need for the sloppy service. Finally our plates were collected by the manageress. Will avoid for a while and hopefully better staff will appear!

ReviewedWe stopped here for breakfast and it was just chaos from start to finish, they need an extra toaster and extra coffee machine as people very getting very inpatient and then you were waiting for food to be topped up. Not enough staff on.

Awful service waited over 2 hours for food when it arrived steak very rare plus the hollandaise sauce serving was shocking, I've seen more on a table spoon, the food came out no apology for the shocking delay, AVOID Rob who was behind the bar said 30.in wait, JUST LIED THEN WHEN I ASKED AGAIN AFTER 2 1/2 HOURS HE SAID BE WITH YOU IN 5 MINS, THEN ANOTHER 25 MINS PASSED, SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE, A OUD GO ELSE WHERE LIKE THE JENNY WREN
