The hotel is very clean, well appointed with polite staff. Rooms are on the small side but beds are comfortable. However the breakfast is unspeakably awful. I cant dven give it one star. Eggs not cooked, pastries days old and stale, orange juice mainly water, pancakes cold and stodgy, potatoes and sausages warm and soggy. However my biggest complaint is the use of plastic in the restaurant and plastic straws in the bar. A large group like this should be aware of environmental concerns and ban plastic from their hotels.

Hotel is attached to the station so really convenient. Rooms are a bit more spacious than other Japanese hotels in this price range, good sized bathroom too and nice shower. Staff at reception are friendly and effecient. Buffet breakfast has western and local dishes as well as a bottle of sake available if you need a hair of the dog! Lots of bars/restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel. If you are heading down to Kyoto or Osaka the JR night bus leaves from directly outside the hotel. Will definitely stay here again if we're in Nagano.

I booked in Hotel Metropolitan Nagano and cheerful that I stayed in this motel. The all inclusive community are amicable and consistently smiling. Love the hotel, the room that I had was colossal and clean. The room advantage is always capable in cleaning my room. I esteem the spot. As a rule, staggering remain!

Choose this hotel cause of its location next to train station. Can access to train station and department store via 2 floor bridge. Many restaurants within walking distance. However no gym or sauna in the premises.

ReviewedAfter our experience in Tokio we imagined all the hotel rooms were going to be for lilliputs: great mistake. Good room size, amenities and the most amazing thing is that the hotel is conneted directly to the station at the 2nd floor. This gives you the chance to access to the commerce and restaurants.
