I loved staying here - it was a traditional hotel and very comfortable. Good quality breakfast in a room overlooking the garden. Staff are friendly . I had a delicious supper there also. Peaceful and perfect stay -definitely will come again .

    • IMO, very good!

Compared to some places we've stayed this was very good. Good clean room, friendly staff, and for someone with a fussy appetite, excellent food with waiter service! The only drawback for someone who's getting older, is the climb from town to the hotel. While only ten minutes walk down into town, it took us much longer to climb back up! Well worth it though. And the gardens were delightful.

Spent a week at the Pandora on a walking holiday package. Though the decor might not appeal to ultra-modernists, my room was immaculate and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfasts were generous, with hot dishes individually prepared to order, even though we were a large group. Cooking and presentation standards were equal to those in much higher rated hotels. The location was quiet, with beautiful terraced gardens where guests could relax. Service was excellent and the smiling staff extremely conscientious.

Whatever you think of the hotel itself, outdated, situated on a steep road, creaking floors, the rooms are clean and the staff are fantastic: friendly and very welcoming in all departments! compliments and thanks for a great week! Obrigado!
