    • Good hotel

We got there in a group of 31 singers and we spent one night there. take in consideration that they have not any air conditioning in the rooms ans in summer it is not convenient because it is very hot in the room

    • Good for its class

Stayed there for a few days in the first half of June. It is definently an Hotel in an old building and is quite ok as a 3 star hotel. With a good breakfast included it is very price conpetetive. Location is excellent. Would I go there again?? Yes most likely. Probably not during the hottest summer months ( no air conditioning ), but during other parts of the year then yes I would.

    • Do not waste your money. Terrible hotel

We couldnt believe how awful the hotel looked from the outside. On arrival at reception we were asked if we would have a twin room despite booking a double. We declined & were given the keys to a double. Unfortunately the room had not been cleaned - dirty sheets, unmade bed, dirty towels & glasses. After complaining we were given another room. There was no toiletries, kettle etc, safety deposit box or bin. Ok it didnt state these were in the room on the booking details but in todays world I would expect them to be in every hotel room. There was a curfew in place from 10pm til 7am! So no late nights or early mornings for guests. There is no bar/lounge or restaurant as advertised. Breakfast is in a former Thai restaurant & the decor is very dark & hasnt been changed since it was a Thai restaurant. The breakfast is very basic and despite emailing the hotel before arrival re gluten free availability they failed to get back to me despite promising they would as soon as the restaurant manager had spoken to reception. There was not even a toaster. And every morning we had to show our key to the henchman on the door before we were allowed into breakfast. The rooms are not cleaned until well after 3pm so you cant get back early. There was a dubious stain on the headboard that was there on day 1 & was not cleaned off all the time we had the room. Also the toilet stunk. Bleach would be a good item to add to the cleaners trolley. But perhaps worse of all was the ants. They were in the bedroom (4th floor), in the luggage, bed, everywhere. Disgusting. The only good thing I can say is the location is good for a variety of buses & trams. Oh and the small shop next door is great to get a little snack etc (except it was closed for the whole time we were there).

I traveled for business and had a superior double room for two nights. The room is quite big with very high ceilings. Pros: - the bed, towels and cleanliness of the room were good - free water bottles in the room Cons: - the breakfast was of absolutely low quality! when I asked for the butter and a toster the answer was rudish: "we just have this, take it or leave". I just have expexted a little more quality for the price. The next morning I had a very good breakfast in a place near the old town. - the bed wasn't done properly the next day - my room was over perfumed

    • Perfect location for town

Staying at the Lothus means that you can get to just about everywhere in Wroclaw on foot. It is situated less than 5 min from the main square and I doubt that there is anything closer (certainly not in this price range). The hotel itself is fairly basic however but functional. There is no bar and the restaurant is only open for breakfast. The rooms are clean though and the beds comfortable. As others have said, the one downside is the remaining smell in the restaurant area. The hotel used to be an Asian hotel with a Vietnamese restaurant and somehow the food/cooking smell still lingers. If this was sorted, with a bit of decor I think that the place could be given a 5 rating.
