My partner and I stayed here for 3nights, the accommodation is nothing fantastic but the bed and bathroom are decent and were clean. It's located right near the cave baths which is handy and it's only 1 bus to centrum which come frequently. The buffet breakfast is included in the price and is handy for those trying to save money, though I do recommend eating out for dinner since there is not much variety and the food is predominantly fried.

The only good thing with this hotel is the lake view and nearby little beach. The room was dirty, dark and many things were broken, like lamps, the curtain etc. No hangers in bathroom for towels, the warderobe could hardly open, really old furniture. No ac or fan. It is too bad on such a the great location. They really ought to blow out everything and start anew by renovating everything. The breakfast was ok and the staff friendly though. We were glad it was only for one nights stay.

Superior room booked with balcony and partial lake view. Thankfully only one night. The whole experience was appalling. Old, dark small bedroom with old furniture and a small badly lit bathroom. The air con wouldn't work in our room which the owner said was due to regulations. It was so stuffy & hot that we bought a fan in town as the hotel had none. Balcony too small to sit out on. Room in total need of redecoration. Wi fi non existent on room. Yes, it was a cheaper hotel than many in Gargnano itself, but I knew the hotel was 15 mins walk from town so thought that was why the price was less than some in the centre. This was an enjoyable stroll and the town itself is fine. Hotel just very poor value and disappointing, completly spoiling our experience in that area.

Extremely bad rooms, dark and small bathroom. We added 40 extra and got a room on First floor with partitial view of the lake, close to the road outside. Old and need renovation, like 15 years ago! Not a 3 star class. AC is working at 6-9 in the morning and 16-21, as the unfriendly german lady in the reception expained, you dont need it at night. Please let me descide this myself! The restaurant we didnt visit, its practicly in the basement. Asked if we could have 2 wine glasses to our room, instead of the plastic ones provided. Ofcouse we could not. Works everywere else in Italy. We actually conscidered leaving and book another hotel and loose our money...

This hotel is a budget accommodation situated outside Gargnano proper (about 650 metres from where the ferry drops you off). There is a nice, relaxed stroll along a lakeside lane to get to the place. When you get here, you will discover a building that, while old-ish (the floor-to-ceiling classwork suggests 70s architecture), is charming and comfortable. The lovely marble floors and unobstructed lake views are emphasized by strict cleanliness and light gauze curtains. The hotel manager is super-lovely, sweet, friendly and helpful; she speaks German and English as well as Italian so she is easy to communicate with. We had some business to take care of remotely that came up during our stay, and the hotel staff fell all over themselves to help us get our things done. They were also fast and helpful at fixing the problem when we discovered there was no soap in our room. The shower takes a very long time to warm up but is otherwise great. The bed is only okay, but the pillows are very good. Breakfast is included! It's a good spread for a continental breakfast. There is also, apparently, dinner, but we did not try it.
