Stayed at this hotel for 7 nights. We had a Panorama room which had great views of the lake as we were on the 5th floor. We were on half board basis. Breakfast was buffet style with a good selection of cereals, meat & cheese, toast and hot items such as eggs, beans and tomatoes and hot drinks and juice. For evening there were soup starters, various main dishes, salad bar and various sweets such as cakes, fruit salad and icecream. Also included was a choice of red/white wine and soft drinks. If you are a vegetarian or vegan there was still a choice for you. There was also a snack time between 4pm and 5pm where you could get a hot drink, cake and biscuits if required. The walk into town was downhill and quite straightforward once you knew the way. Coming back was an gradual incline until the last part which was either steps up or a quite steep slope up to the hotel. A minibus is available during the day for 1 euro per person each way if required. The hotel has two pools you can use and we did not struggle to get a sunbed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

    • Good 3* hotel in Limone sul Garda

Stayed here for 4 nights end of august 2019. Hotel is good. Received a room with a beautiful view on lake Garda. Room was a bit dated but clean and cleaned every day, surrounging area was clean and lovely. Outdoor pools were good as well as sunbed areas. Location of thois hotel is really superb! Breakfast was the same for all mornings, but it is a 3* hotel so you can expect it. Evening food was fine. Choose of 4-5 main dishes, deserts, ice cream. Really not bad and all was eatable :o) Afternoon "tea time" with complimentary coffe or tea and cake was a nice surprise. Location. hotel is on the hill so you can reach the beach in approx. 10 minutes, downtown of Limone in approx. 15 minutes walk downhill. For return you can use hotels "shuttle bus" running from 8am till 7pm every 30 minutes (there is a hour break between 12:45 and 2:15pm) for 1 per person. Unforunatelly the bus is not running at the evening so you can walk back uphill approx 20 minutes from BUS parking/downtown. We were satisfied, Limone is a nice Italian town and hotel Cristina was better then we expected after eading some comments before our holidays.

The shower was not quite in alignment & reception was asked to repair it & it was not. We had to ask for toilet roll at least twice as they were not replenished.. The worst thing of all though was on our last day. We were told the day before that our coach was leaving to take us to the airport at 8.05 for our 2 hour drive to Verona Airport.Flight leaving at 11.15. In fact our coach arrived at 7.05. We were informed wrong. We were in fact up at 0600 . At 705 we were having a limited breakfast & were told at 0725 that our coach was waiting for us.. We then went outside , could not find the coach. Were told by reception to walk down the road about 200m ( why ? ) to try & find an invisible coach. I could go on with how this was resolved.Hotel wise again - Very quiet, No entertainment whatsoever.

Stayed here with my family (wife and two year old) for four days. The views from our balcony over the lake were amazing. The room we stayed in was basic but clean and served its purpose! Had some brilliant banter with the staff - mainly my inability to speak Italian. We tended to eat at the pool bar - the little pizzas here were amazing. We were told it was a ten minute walk into the centre. Its probably a bit longer than that although we did have a pushchair. Some uphill sections to get up but nothing too taxing. There is a shuttle bus that runs from the centre to the hotel for next to nothing - brilliant really. The only time we caught it though, it was packed and people had to be turned away by the driver unfortunately. Driver was very helpful with us having a little one. Plenty of shops etc in the centre. We took a paddle steam boat to another area of the lake. Didnt take long at all, got a good view of the lake and brilliant to watch all the windsurfers. My parents took the cable car on the other side of the lake (Im not brave enough) - views are said to be stunning. There was a nice variety of food in the restaurant on a morning and evening - the staff here were really attentive. The site is very well kept - very clean. The pool area is nice. there seemed to be enough places for people around the pool. Life guard always on duty - who I witnessed having to take positive action by jumping in. Very Comforting really. There are lifts dotted around site to get you up the levels and a kind gentleman helped us with our bags upon arrival. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again if we ever ventured to the lake again.

I went to hotel Christina with my aunt & cousin & the three of us couldnt wait after hearing the reviews.. when we arrived the lady showed us a map of where our room was & it is like a maze. Loads of steps & after a long day & two and a half hr journey from Milan to the hotel last thing you want to be doing is traipsing round the hotel with heavy suitcases. Finally we found room, it was meant to be for the 3 of us & it was made for 2 people. So no sheets. We went to reception & they said it will be done in the morning. There were only 1 sachet of coffee, stains on towels... oh & last night of stay no sheets again.. the positives were the views, absolutely incredible. It was lovely to relax by the pool & then have a swim with the amazing views was literally heaven. The hotel staff were terrible though, two people Antonio and a lady from Peru were so lovely but the rest were like zombies. Food ok, kitchen staff needed to smile more. I get the long hours and same thing everyday but they are working in hospitality. Just made eating in dining room slightly uncomfortable. 15 minute walk to town centre just be prepared for the walk back up and in the heat. After getting ready to be checked out the receptionist was rude and gives you the look of death. Very German friendly and most of the guests were German. Never will go back to hotel Cristina again and Im sure plenty of other hotels are about with stunning views yet much more friendlier staff!
