    • Beautiful spot for watching the swallows

We deliberated about booking this hotel but eventually chose it because we were travelling with a lot of luggage and there was parking. It's set in rural surroundings up a narrow lane, but once you have found it, it's really lovely. The receptionist was very welcoming and speaks good enough English to answer our questions. Our room was large and well fitted (although there were no English/international channels on the television). No wifi in room but it's good in the dining room (where a waiter kindly cleared a table for me to sit down with my laptop). The pool is not huge but again the setting is beautiful and there are plenty of places to sun yourself. We didn't dine at the hotel (you need to pre-book before 7.30pm - cost was 15 euros each for three courses without drinks) but ventured into Aracena. Our continental breakfast was ample and I was delighted to learn tea was available (various flavours). No, this hotel isn't in the centre of Aracena - there is a walk of just under 2 km along the main road to reach the town - but if you want good service, spectacular views and a tranquil spot this is the right place to come.

We stopped here on our road trip through Andulcia Spain. It is a very hard place to find...ifyour GPS tells you to turn off the main road onto what looks like a cow path...do so...you are on the right way. The accomadations are fairly basic...but clean and comfortable. The views are what makes this place shine! Spectacular! And the staff as well..they are very inviting. We had dinner there...excellent local cuisine. My husband especially enjoyed the warm spinach salad with fried egg. Breakfast was well worth the 5 euro. My only complaint is that there should be signage at the highway.

Location beautiful once you find it. So badly signposted. Very rural but rooms very clean and comfortable, staff very friendly. Had very nice evening meal and thoroughly enjoyed continental breakfast. Nearby Aracena very pretty and the caves well worth the visit. Lots of restaurants in the town if staying longer. Didnt get there but Rio Tinto mining houses very close by.

Tiny dirt track leading to this hotel. Staff very friendly and giving a nice welcome. Nice view. As there are 4 of us we rented a tiny house. Furniture is quite old, door is pretty hard to open thanks to chaffing on the floor. Fridge was not plugged. No microwave. Toaster needs to be fixed. Bathroom is really old. Toilets are leaking. Bed is not really comfortable. Old spring type. Coming back from the city I was bitten by a scorpion. I dont blame the hotel, that is wildlife. But it happened where my young kids were playing. On the terrace itself, 2 meters from the entrance door. The hospital nearby is very friendly. I was very happy it didnt happen to the kids. Trust me that is painful. Anyway, enjoy your stay. On my side I am not ready to come back. Sorry.

We randomly selected this hotel for an overnight trip to Jabugo and Aracena. It was a smart choice! The views were stunning, it was clean and quiet. They had a great cot and a highchair The room and bathroom was spacious. I am sure we would've slept well had our baby let us! We will be back for our next shopping trip
