    • Rude staff member tarnished my experience

      Reviewed 13 September 2019

I've rated this "2" because I especially liked the look of the place, but I had a very disturbing encounter with a very officious female employee. I was en route from the car park on an unexpected errand. I was carrying my 4kg sleeping, elderly dog through the OUTDOOR part of the district. The woman approached me and aggressively demanded to know where I was going. I was shocked but told her I was going to the bank in Broadmead. She said I couldn't be there with the dog even if I carried him. I told herI had already parked. Apparently I wasn't allowed to either pass through the thoroughfare or go back to the car park. (I was thinking "I can't levitate") Eventually she said she would allow me to pass out of the district, but said I could not come back to the car park. I would have to walk all the way around the district. On the way out, I looked for signs regarding the dog policy. I found one. It was very small and showed a rather ambiguous symbol. It looked like a bit of relief sculpture. You wouldn't notice it unless you looked hard to find it. I don't normally pass through this area with my dog, but the whole experience left me feeling so bad I will shop elsewhere from now on.

    • Extensive Modern Shopping

Visited Bristol for short get away and found an extensive choice of designer and highstreet shops and restaurants close to hotels. We stayed at the City Centre Marriott and shopping precincts literally on your doorstep. Stores for all ages, styles and purposes. Well worth a visit.

    • Had a nice stopover meal at Cabot Circus and shopping in Bristol

My family including parents with restricted mobility visited Cabot Circus on the recommendation of our local friends. They recommended stopping over at Cabot Circus for lunch and shopping. We parked our car at the Cabot Circus car park and walked over to the main area via a skybridge. We were spoilt for choice on restuarants and in the end opted for Wagamama. They were also an excellent variety of shops and many good scenic spots for family photos. Highly recommended to stop over for 2-3 hours for food and shopping

    • A Great Shopping Experience.

Cabot Circus is a great place to go shopping. There are a large variety of shops and loads of food outlets. Anyone should be able to find a restaurant they like there. There are plenty of escalators and lifts to reach the upper floors. There is a good cinema there and the parking is relatively easy. A short walk and you are in Broadmead shopping centre. I would recommend anyone to visit if they are in the Bristol area.

Lots of shops, mostly food and clothes. Just like any old Mall really, nothing spectacular about it. Pretty sure Drake Circus in Plymouth is bigger actually.
