Nice tour with an awesome tour guide. Dyami made the trip with his knowledge of the island and Cas Cay. Great adventure, but dont wear flip flops.

    • Best Excursion of our cruise!

Hey - if you're thinking of what excursion to check out while on your cruise or island vacation...I really think this is a great option! The guides were just GREAT! The kayaks were easy for us to navigate, and the activity was "just right". They took us out in the kayaks through the mangrove bay which was very clear so you could see things in the water. Then we beached the kayaks for a bit. Reapplied sunscreen. They took us on a hike to see a few things of interest. A blowhole - sorry don't remember the name. And, a colony of hermit crabs. The guides taught us about several different tress and foliage of interest too. We traveled back to the area where our kayaks were and put on the snorkel gear. I am a beginner for sure, but I settled right into this and just took my time seeing all there was to see - EVEN A SHARK!!! He was probably about 2 feet long. So cool. I also saw one small barracuda and hundreds of other types of fish. They provided a small snack and set off back to home base in the kayaks again. We have 5 in our party, so one of us had to go it alone in a single kayak. Be aware - that is a LOT harder than it looks. It took the loner quite a lot longer getting there and back - but honestly, the guides could not have been more cool about it. We loved it. It took about 4 hours from the travel time from ship, roundtrip back to the ship. Oh, and be advised... shops on these little islands close promptly at 5pm and do not stay open later so get your shopping in while you can. Do NOT forget your sun protection - I was so glad we wore our SPF shirts. Hats would have been great. Lots of water.

I did the Sunset Kayak Tour with Kevin as my guide. Kayaking through the mangroves was awesome, and I got to see lots of interesting local birds along the way. Kevin was a lot of fun to work with and was extremely knowledgeable about the area and local plant and animal life. I'll have to try some of the other tours that this company offers the next time I'm on St. Thomas, and I highly recommend them to anyone visiting!

Our tour guide Tree (his nickname, obviously) was excellent and showed us some of the hot spots for hiking, kayaking and snorkeling around Honeymoon and Caneel Bays. Knowledgeable, fun and down to Earth, he really knew his stuff. Everyone working for V.I. Ecotours was top notch. Couldn't recommend them enough. My girlfriend and I had a great time. Big thanks to Tree and the rest!

My daughter and I did the Mangrove Kayak, Hike, and Snorkel tour as an excursion from our Royal Caribbean cruise. The transportation connection was smooth at the port and return. The staff were all super friendly and made sure everyone had the equipment they needed for the morning. Even with the wind, the paddling was relatively easy and the sights were beautiful. Thanks for a memorable trip.
