    • Central Location for a days visit

      Reviewed 04 September 2019

Good Hotel with pleasant staff (and a lovely cat). Really close to the centre and the sites. Parking is nearby and charged but not too expensive. The light show on an August wednesday projected onto the Cathedrale was spectacular.

    • Worst Hotel ever!

      Reviewed 13 August 2019

Location great, but that is the only good thing about it! Parking is 1/2 mile away. The hotel carpet was worn out and filthy. The great breakfast cost $14 euros and was basically a bad continental breakfast that most hotels give free. Our room (#28) had its toilet in a tiny closet. The room smelled like raw sewage- not just the tiny toilet room but the whole hotel room. We told the front desk and their solution was to spray air freshener. The sewage smell was so bad we checked out a day early but were charged the full additional day. Do NOT stay there. I have never given anyone a bad review before. This was awful!

    • Terrible hotel

      Reviewed 03 August 2019

This is one of the worst hotels Ive stayed in, in many years. To be fair, the location is good and the staff friendly, although there are none on duty after 9 PM. The bed was comfortable, although it was more like a mattress on the floor than a proper bed. Our room was small, poorly furnished and noisy. The smallest closet Ive ever seen, with no safe. We had only 3 carry-on bags, and had to keep two of them in the washroom. There was a tiny desk with no electrical outlet nearby. Some of the lights didnt work. etc., etc. Dont be fooled, as we were, by the photos of the entrance.

    • Terribly bad maintained and dirty

      Reviewed 13 July 2019

So sorry to have to inform you that this charming old building is housing a hotel that is terribly bad maintained and dirty. The fixed curtain fell to the florr as we opened the window, and there are worn out carpets, ugly furniture, cracks everywhere and typic in a scene like this, an innocent girl at the reception desk who cannot refund you the money. We stayed elsewhere for the night.

    • Oof! Mon dieu!

      Reviewed 24 June 2019

To comment on style over substance would be to imply this hotel had either. Paper thin walls ensure complete familiarity with the other guests conversations/ bodily functions etc. Was the threadbare carpet a statement? Take a waterproof torch if you need to see in the shower. For the price, this was shocking. No redeeming features.
