Very helpful and supportive staff! Even carried my luggage as I was so exhausted and no elevator. Highly recommended, cosy and clean in the centre. Market in town on Tuesday, take care of parking! Recommended for solo traveller, large room

Clean, efficient lodging. Staff exceedingly friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but clean with good A/C. Wonderful location in the center of the village, but because of that there can be some street noise, especially on the weekends or holidays.

    • Quirky Motel 6/Hostel like hotel with great location and friendly staff -Limited air conditioning!

      Reviewed 06 July 2019

Stayed for 3 nights in late June during the heat wave. There is no lift so plan on schlepping luggage to your room. First room we were in was #1 which overlooked shops downstairs with view of the square. It was noisy, had a curtain we had to keep closed with a hair clip, a tub with hand held shower only, and seems to have triggered allergy attacks in both my husband and I. We requested a move to a room with a shower, and the friendly staff was able to accommodate with room 51, which had a great shower, was quieter, and didn't seem to trigger sneezing attacks. The staff also arranged to move our luggage to the new room which was appreciated and a nice gesture. Breakfast is cold cuts/cheese, baguette, croissant, muesli, yogurt, one choice of fruit, tea/coffee. The standouts for this hotel are the friendly staff (5*) and excellent location to the square (5*). There are supermarkets and many restaurants within a few min walk. 3 stars due to bare bones rooms (bring your own Kleenex), lack of robust air conditioning, and average breakfast offerings.

    • Characterful and quirky hotel

Great location in the centre of town. If you are after a quirky, characterful townhouse hotel with very friendly service then this is the place for you. This is not a chain hotel full of all mod cons, and so much the better for it.

    • Great location. Difficult to navigate.

Tons of stairs and no lift. Very strange to navigate. The location is awesome, right on the square and the ice cream shop downstairs is always packed. However, the rooms are minimally furnished with a child's desk and chairs. You'll flood the bathroom if you're not careful and the photos on the walls in the halls are downright frightening! Some of the staff are nice and a couple are nasty.
