We spent a week in this lovely Tuscan resort. We had an excellent suite, furnished tastefully in the style of the building (but including a spacious jacuzzi in the bathroom! The restaurant on site provided good food and good service. We were particularly impressed by Dennis, the Karma Representative, who was friendly, accessible and very helpful. He ensured we made the best of our stay in this resort!

We just came back on last Saturday from Karma Bongo Di Colleoli Resort. We stayed there for week. It's historical building, surrounded by olive trees. Nice and quite place. We stayed in suite and our friends stayed in self-catering appartment. They have two different accommodation. Our suite was huge, clean, with nice view and beautifully decoration . As karma member we loved staying here. Manger Danish and in reception young guy called Jacopo was very friendly and very helpful. There is small village Palaia about 3km. away from resort. It takes about 40min walk. From there 230 bus takes to Pontedera railway station and from there you can take train from Pisa or Florence. It's easy to travel by bus and train. Karma Borgo Di Resort is amazing. We highly recommended.

    • A resort in the heart of Tuscany

A restored historical building complex located in the heart of Tuscany in the Chianti region. It is surrounded by wine-yards and olive groves as well a a lot of natural vegetation. The resort is well restored, however maintaining its historical heritage and has Suites and Apartments. It has a small restaurant (with limited options) and two swimming pools. There is also another small restaurant next doors ... perhaps the only sign of habitation nearby. The nearest village is about 3 km and the nearest supermarket about 7 km. There is no public conveyance and one needs to hire cabs (frightfully expensive) or hire a self drive car (that too will have to be arranged from Pisa). If one wants to visit and enjoy the Tuscan Countryside by driving on your own, this is a good place to be. If one wants to just chill in the resort, then it is an option (however there is nothing much to do there). We however had a great time as we hired a car and moved around everyday.

    • Splended Stay in this Tuscany Hideaway

Spent a lovely week in Karma Borgo in the busiest time in Italy Ferroggosto. It was our first time and we did know what to expect. We drove from Liguria and we were ok until the last half an hour, when we got a little lost despite having a sat nav. Checking in was very efficient and our luggage was taken to our suite. We were very pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of the rooms and furnishings. Our suite was in a 400 years old palazzo with wonderful high ceilings. There is a wonderful, large pool to enjoy, providing you get there early before the kids and their inflatable crocodiles arrive! There is a nice restaurant set in a court yard serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. As Karma members we met Dennis, their on-site representative. Dennis was very generous with his time and helped us with our stay and booked us into a very good restaurant in Palaia. We liked it so much that we are planning to return next year.

We were a family of 8 spread into 3 apartments which worked out great for us. The kids loved the big pool, the views and the rooms were breathtaking! We enjoyed pasta making with the Chef and the food was delicious. Staff was all very friendly and helpful. Only minor things they could improve on would be wifi coverage (almost non existent some evenings) and well they could use a bit more help in the restaurant which was slow.
